Cool Waters Motel — Hotel in Painttown Community

We have gone to this motel for many years. This was the worst. Called and made reservations before we went. Drove 6 1/2 hours. Got there to check in only to be told someone didnt assign us a room and they were booked up. I told the very unconcerned, rude, potty mouthed owner that we reserved a room non smoking two beds and we needed that room. Finally after she cussed and fussed she assigned us a room and handed me a key. Told us room was not cleaned so we would have to wait. Which was ok. Recieved three phone calls later in evening changing room again because of water leaking in the one thay gave us. BUT she said it was a king sized bed and the box springs were on floor because frame had broke and TV didn't work in there. At this point just needed a placee to sleep. Bed was ok but bottom sheet did not fit bed and came off in the middle of night. Second day we were told we would have to change rooms to non smoking that was better. When we came to get key was told they didn't have one because thay had to close all those rooms down. WHAT??? Argued that we had to sleep there so find us a room. Finally got one King siized bed (Sheets still came off bed during night) When you laid on bed light flicked because the plug was jammed into mattress. Smoke alarm hanging sideways from ceiling, water dripping in bathroom. Worst was the 2 inch spave under front door along the bottom. Asked who owner was and found out it was the rude lady we started out with. So done staying there. Will be contacting health dept and BBB...

We placed a reservation on Wednesday for Friday and Saturday. When we arrived on Friday they didn't have our reservation. We played back to call to see if we where suppose to go to another Motel. Nope, the woman at the front desk said that my voice. I remember this call, I think I forgot to put you in the book. That should have been a hint. Before we left, we needed to turn in keys to 3 different rooms. The first room we where in the AC didn't work. It also looked like a cleaned crime scene. We found that there was no mini fridge, microwave and the wireless only covers like 5 rooms closest to the room. I have pictures attached. We gave it all night to work and it did nothing. They moved us to another room that morning. We moved and went out on the town. When we got back we found that the bathroom did not have hot water and the sink was clogged that we where in. When we informed them of this, they informed us that they where sold out and they would come look at it. When they reviewed the bathroom they gave us a key to another room, to use the that bathroom. I would give no Stars if possible. We stayed here for years and this year was the worst I have ever seen it. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and will be staying somewhere else next time. The bathroom door was tore up on one side, had a chunk of the shower missing, the back door was hard to close and you had to pick it up and move it to get it closed. We even had a mouse in out room that we saw multiple times.we went and asked for towels and they told us they didn't have any so needless to say we didn't get to get showers that night. The vending machines didn't work right. The come machine took me 10 minutes of trying to get it to work and the candy machine would take one coin and that's all. They also went up on the prices since last year and haven't done anything to the rooms like renovations or anything. The AC didn't even cool the room. I can honestly say we will not...
