Read moreI was so excited to try GR Fish restaurant. After 5 minutes of leaving, I noticed the fish was "mushy" in the middle. I took it back to see if I can get them redropped. The head chef, tall white male argued with me instead of fixing the problem. I told him im willing to keep the fries which were cold by then, i just wanted the fish. He asked me how long ive been gone, because if i wait too long, it'll get mushy. Then asked how many were mushy. Then told me they temp all items over 165° and wasn't sure why they're mushy. I then got irritated because a good chef would simply apologize and fix the problem. I told him I'm familiar with food industry and what foods temp at what degree. He then walks off to get the manager. The cashier told me they had to take the whole order back. I told her, okay, ill wait. Manager comes to ask all the same questions and further explain how people will get food then wait hrs before eating them complain that its mushy. I show him our receipt. He sees when we left and said he'll bring our food to us. He brings us our fish without the fries. When i mention the fries, he says that i only asked for fish.🤦🏽♀️ I told him that I was understanding and willing to keep my fries if they can just redue the fish. He said once they take the food, they can't give it back. I said, yes i know. Now that you have my fries, are you going to replace them? This goes on for another 10 seconds. He comes back with a small handful of fries.😐 We paid $20 for 3 pieces of fish, a handful of fries, no drink and a migraine. As a customer who came in respectfully asking for new fish and willing to keep cold fries, I was disappointed in the customer service and how this became bigger than...
Read more*Do yourself a favor and FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT!!!! If I could give ZERO STARS, I absolutely would!!! My first review of Gordon Ramsay's food court is below and here it is 6 months later and they've opened a fish & chips. It's just OK. Captain D's is a better and less expensive option. Actually the brewery in town is a far superior option! Or try the Mexican restaurant in town as well! We paid way too much for 3 pieces of fish and add on shrimp at $2 each! The shrimp breading was raw inside! Just do yourself a favor and stay far away! Cherokee would be better by opening their Earl of sandwich and Johnny rockets again during normal business hours! What the heck were you thinking, Harrah's?!? This food court is EXTREMELY overpriced and NOT very good!!! The people claiming the pizza is tasty should fill you in on the fact that the pizza is literally $20 for a tiny pizza that is just so-so! I don't understand how people give anything in here a decent review. We ate here when they had the soft opening and everything was half price. We weren't impressed with the pizza, bagels, cupcakes that time. We have since tried it again when it was full blown open and decided to try the burgers. We did choose the plant based patty option and still weren't impressed! They say they use impossible meat so I know that should be consistent with other places that serve impossible. However, the buns they use are absolutely disgusting! Maybe we had it on a bad day, but the buns just fall apart and really don't taste good at all! Everything LOOKS good, but that's where it ends! The fries were just "ok" and we tried the sweet potato and the regular fries. Not sure how some can give this food court anything over 1...
