This third floor unit is the perfect level. The space was clean and lovely, though a little worn as far as some of the furnishings go. The bed isn’t terribly comfy, but we realize that’s a matter of personal preference anyway. We just like something softer. There were a few beach items we were glad to use, and we left our float there, too :) we appreciated plenty of towels, the washer/dryer, and hair dryer, and the initial supply of soaps, shampoos, and toilet paper. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the appliances are top notch. A new pair of scissors would be nice, too. The only thing i can think of that would be great to add in the unit is a full length mirror somewhere so us ladies can see how we look before we go out on the town :) the elevators worked great this time (they were a little slower last year), and the second floor walkover from the parking garage is wonderful. Overall, a great unit and the best condo to stay at on the quiet west end. There’s a wonderful little market down there called carousel, and a few places to eat a as well, if you want to stay out of the muck of the central beach area. Thank you for sharing 307 with us! Resort Rules. I'm a smoker and I have no issue with not being able to smoke indoors or even on the balcony. But to be chased away from the outside front of the buildings (both sides) and told that you can only smoke on public sidewalks (not resort sidewalks). Oh, they have a lovely gazebo across the street in which you have to walk thru a parking garage to access. Then once there you find a picnic table and stand up ashtray. Nice, but where are the cameras or any feeling of security? As a single woman, I did not feel safe going back there alone in the evenings. Next rule - 2 nice pools. Pretty much empty (maybe 6 people at most) but NO recreational floats permitted? First place I've ever stayed that you cannot take a float to enjoy your day in the pool. Thank you to the neighboring resort who had 3 benches placed out front with an ashtray that allowed me and others to casually sit instead of standing on the corner of our resort looking like trash hanging on the corners! Love being on the Gulf....beautiful sunsets 🌇 Also a perk that 2 beach chairs and an umbrella 🏖 are included! Elevators operated well and efficiently while we were here for 5 weeks.....feels like home...hate to leave♡♡♡ Our favorite restaurants: Ambrosia...beautiful bar with a delicious burger...2. Amore....Apple fritters and Italian sub....4....Nigel's Bananas in Watersound....5.....Thomas'...for donuts, hamburgers, biscuit sand....6...Firefly...for bone in rib eye, caesar salad...7..... Aja..beautiful and delicious drinks + Mongolian beef...8...Cuvee...Bone in pork chop....9....Boondocks....atmosphere, gift shop, fresh seafood...10....Mike's Oyster Bar...a short walk from The Celadon...prime rib on Thursday nights 🥩...have to add this....Marble Slab @ Pier Park...get the Cherry Vanilla Vacation in a waffle cone...a must...
