Devastating experience. I travel for work and have NEVER experienced anything like this. Daughter asked us to join her since her friends were unable to. No wifi. I had to turn on my hotspot for my husband to work throughout the day. Breakfast consist of microwave turkey sausage, eggs and waffles. If you dont show up at least 30 min prior to the end time you will not eat. I saw multiple families show up with heaters empty, although manager says i didnt. Ice machine didnt work on 2nd floor. Housekeeping never showed up although manager insisted they did multiple times. My husband worked til 5 each day with no one showing up at our door. I was ok with it since we did have 3 dogs and i would never expect anyone to clean up after my animals. 1 has a medical condition that causes her to gain weight, 13 yrs old and sleeps all day. The staff is not trained to deal with pets although they are pet friendly hotel. Had a staff worker tell my daughter in disgust how overweight my old girl was in the elevator. Our Golden Retriever slipped his collar off when startled by a maint worker directly in front of our room door. Maint worker ran to the wall with hands up screaming "oh no, oh no". Retriever came straight back to us for us to fix the collar. Manager confronted me in the lobby with other guest present when I asked for clean sheets, to change on my own, and a broom/dust pan. I have never been so humiliated to have a manager confront me with other guest insisting that she is looking for a solution, meanwhile never stating a solution to the incident. Consistently stating that she is staying calm looking for solutions to my aggressive dog, meanwhile I hear all the fabricated stories of how they have came to our door multiple times and even tried calling us. My husband there in the room all week and my daughter had no missed calls. I asked what she wanted us to do, if we need to leave we would. She says she wanted us to leave with no refund of room or pet fee. I let her know that multiple families had pets above 75 pound limit or left their pets unattended. She let me know that those occurrences are not in question that only what happened in my room. It made me feel as if I was being targeted and discriminated against. Apparently the rules and policies only applied to me. We later agreed to leave the next morning, meanwhile the door was attempted to be opened multiple times throughout that morning and knocks at the door prior to 11am. I spoke with head quarters and let them know how harassed I felt, while they let me know that I needed to resolve the issue with the same manager that humiliated, discriminated and harassed me. Never again will I ever stay at a Wyndham Hotel. I've never received this treatment at a Choice Hotel or similar. Spent last 2 days of my vacation crying and completely stressed with severe anxiety and couldn't wait to get home. And not to mention we never did receive clean sheets so we had to go buy new sheets and comforter at Walmart for...

Read moreextremely poor customer service we experienced at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham, located at 17710 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, FL 32413. Our reservation was made on the same day, and we specifically asked if we could check in early as we were driving for approximately nine hours from Fort Lauderdale to Panama City. The reservation agent informed us that the hotel had plenty of rooms available but did not guarantee an early check-in.
When we arrived at the hotel 30 minutes after making the reservation, the front desk staff was not only unhelpful but also rude and had a terrible attitude. My husband explained our situation and asked if we could check in early, but the staff member insisted there were no available rooms. My husband mentioned that we were told there were plenty of rooms when we made the reservation, and it was up to her to allow us to check in. She responded disrespectfully, saying we had to wait until 4 PM to check in.
Upset by this treatment, my husband called to cancel the reservation. At no point during the reservation process were we informed that it was non-refundable. The person who answered the phone cancelled our reservation and then informed us that it was non-refundable. This crucial detail should have been disclosed before cancelling the room. We were frustrated and confused by this lack of communication.
The representative then told us she would get her manager to approve a voucher for the total amount we paid, and that we would receive an email with the voucher approval in about 14 minutes. We waited, but the email never came. After waiting 30 minutes, we called back, only to be told that the voucher was not yet approved. We asked to speak to a manager, but were told the manager was very busy and would call us back soon. After making around 15 calls and being transferred, put on hold, and given no solutions, we finally spoke with Jhon in Mexico, who explained that the email with the voucher would take around 24 hours to send out.
We are extremely disappointed with the service we received, and the lack of transparency and communication has caused us significant stress and frustration. After enduring these issues, we had to secure another hotel room at additional expense. We had reach out to the headquarters with several emails until today a week later we still haven't received any refund or and answer either from the manager or the...
