We visit Panama City Beach almost every year. This year we went with a large family and some littles. We rented 2 units to accommodate all 14 of us. The condos themselves are played out nicely and clean. With the exceptions of the bathtubs and showers. There was mold on the caulking. Ewww! The shower curtains also had pink mold. The big thing was the balcony sliding glass door didn't lock or close properly. This was an issue because, we had a toddler staying with us. The facility itself had missing tiles here and there, and a return vent in the lobby that when pushed it completely caved. It was sharp and our 8 year old grandson cut his finger. The return has a bench right in front of it so when you lean back you lose balance and that's were the cut finger happened. The kitchens claimed to be fully stocked but aren't. We had to buy plastic silverware because, the very, very cheap silverware, mainly the spoons had sharp edges. Staying at Splash Resort was disappointing for the money it cost to stay. We had called maintenance about the balcony lock and mold and they showed up and saidb"they needed parts they didn't have" to solve the lock issue. They never even addressed the mold in the bathtubs or shower. They didnt even bother to enter our condo. For a resort that caters to children this place fell short to keep them safe. There are 2 towers for the resort and each tower has multiple units on each of the 19 floors. Elevators were 2 per tower that made it a nuisance. Every day there are people arriving or checking out with big luggage carts. This makes the wait to go up or down very slow. Be prepared to wait, a lot. Also, the doors close quickly. Typically the doors have sensors to stop it from closing if the sensor feels an arm or leg in the way. Not these elevators. On arrival two children who entered the elevator after the luggage cart were then routed to the next floor. Unaccompanied because the doors closed. Overall, I can't recommend Splash Resort. There are safety issues all over the place here. It is not family friendly at all. Typically, the resorts will offer a life lifeguard on the beach for their guests, this is not the case for Splash Resort. They will however charge $60 a day for 2 chairs and an umbrella. This was a new experience for us. I won't stay here again and I certainly won't be recommending to anyone. It is not family...

One of the most unique condominiums on Panama City Beach. Very spacious with an East and West tower each with its own pool and hot tubs, poolside bars, kid oriented swimming with a mini water park style play area designed for families and kids.

21 floors each with only 6 to 7 units making it very spacious. All rooms include balconies with beautiful beach views. Splash resort is relatively new and easily stands out from nearby condominiums. Each tower is designed with a decorative water "Splash" design at the top of each tower which is colorfully illuminated so bright that it can easily be seen miles away.

All parking is garaged on the north side of Front Beach Road. An enclosed overpass connects the parking garage to the condominium side lobby and elevators are conveniently located near a common area for both East and West towers.

Splash resort is one of the only resorts that has a shopping store located on the property so you don't even have to leave the resort every time you need something or simply just want to do some shopping. It's not just any tourist trap gift shop either. This shop is part of Panama City Beach's history and its called Alvin's Island Department Store which is just one of dozens around the Florida Panhandle. This massive shopping area has nearly everything you could want related to PCB and the beach lifestyle. Alvin's Island carries too name Surf brands such as Billabong, Quicksilver, Hurley,Roxy and so many more. Once you enter Alvin's Island you might just decide to do all your shopping here. This is by far a convenient perk unique to Splash.

Located in Panama City Beach's West side, your far from the late night bars and clubs so you won't hear anything but the waves crashing onto the shore. You also have plenty of room to find your perfect spot on the white sandy beach where you can relax and soak up the sun and go for a swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters. It doesn't get much better than that.

The Splash Resort has everything your looking for in a Florida beach vacation for the whole family or even a romantic getaway...

Our room was filthy when we checked in on July 21st 2023. We notified Vacasa, and they sent a ticket to the local property manager. The local property manager stated that he had an "expert" check/sign off that our room was cleaned, and refused to compensate us for having to spend our first evening of our vacation cleaning our own room. There was a fee for "cleaning" in our original booking dues for approx $200 that, at minimum, should have been refunded. After he denied our claims, we sent time stamped pictures of the filth that was left for us to find. This filth included, but was not limited to... Cheerios in the kitchen floor, chips on the living room floor, trash laying openly in the master bedroom floor, diety kitchen sink, dirty counter top, diret fridge inside/out, broken dishwasher, guest tub that did not drain sand in our bed (even though linens were supposedly changed), dirty glass doors, dirty tables, dirty stove inside/out, furniture scatter about the room in disarray. We were present in the condo from 7/21/23 until 8/2/23, which was ample time for something do be done. We were continually put off and the local property manager responded to no tickets that were put through and refused to compensate us for ruining our first night of a very expensive vacation, which we spent cleaning what we had already paid for someone else to have cleaned. I am a business owner and would never in a million years allow a dissatisfied customer to go completely unheard or cared about like this. We stayed here last year and had a much different experience, probably because there were no problems to report.

Renter be warned!!! If you have issues at this resort, neither the local property manager, nor Vacasa will help you.

I'm adding the photos I sent to Vacas and that they shared with the Local Property Manager who has an "expert"!...

We had a great time for our family spring break vacation. Our condo was beautiful and clean. Accessing the pools, lazy river, small water play area and beach for very easy. We read a lot of reviews on parking and the elevators. Parking is across the street and you walk across but it was not bad. Finding a parking spot in the evening was most difficult but manageable. We weren't sure how the check in would go but it was smooth and service was friendly. We stopped and got new wrist bracelets daily and they didn't mind. The elevator broke one time but that was due to human error and people leaving the luggage carts in the elevator. I would highly suggest paying for the early check in. We did and got there around 2 and had no problem unloading and unpacking to check in. However, between 4-6pm, the elevators were swamped and people waited awhile. The kids water area was really cold but they had 3 pools, kids water area, a lazy river and splash pad, all this overlooked the beach and the ocean. Our view from our room was spectacular. We truly enjoyed it and our daughter loved it.

Our condo was fantastic other than some crumbs on the top of the sofa bed. Pool seemed really cloudy but I guess that’s expected with the resort being right on the beach and people going from the ocean to the pool. Public bathrooms by the pool were nasty and service at the poolside bar seemed slow. I would expect them to have more than 1 or 2 people working during peak season. The resort it’s self could use some TLC as far as public areas. The walls had ripped wallpaper by the elevators probably due to a luggage rack hitting the wall (no biggie) but the elevators were SLOW! They got stuck once during our stay and I waited over 20 minutes for one when we were checking out. Other than the small stuff it’s a great resort for families with kids.
