Studio 6 Deer Valley Phoenix Az. This is an extreme complaint about the inadequacy, ineptitude, unprofessionalism, of both The Assistant and General Manager for this property doing and acting however they want with no Recourse!!!

The General Manager Ashley is disrespectful, unprofessional and rude. There was a customer in the front office, asking for her to resolve an issue due to a promise she had made to give a discount on a room instead of walking from the back to the front reception area to resolve this issue she had the front receptionist relay messages back-and-forth and advise the customer she wasn't coming forward to resolve the issue. Also, while in this establishment, I was outside in the bench area next to the office when I had a drive by happened with a BB gun and was hit twice due to the unsafeness of this property. Had to contact Phoenix PD in regards to myself being personally assaulted by individuals on the property management did nothing due to this. Also, my roommate and myself had paid till 13 March checked out before 11 o'clock on the 10th due to he had a flight at 9 o'clock at Phoenix international airport and I had checked out the day before on 9 March. Initially spoke to Alicia, the assistant general manager, which agreed that $382 and change was owed for the three nights 20 days later. Still haven't received refund as of yet and when I contacted general manager Ashley I was disrespected by her, She was rude ..hung up the phone and not willing to pay the $382 that was agreed-upon by her assistant general manager. Instead she insist upon that we checked out after 11 am on the 10th and only paying $217 . Ashley is extremely unprofessional and unwilling to do her job with any kind of confrontation that isn't going to benefit her property. I would not suggest going to this property unless everything is paid for upfront and you'd stay the entire stay with no money to be refunded I have had to file a grievance with G6 corprate with as of yet no resolution, waiting for Corprate to contact me within five days totally unprofessional, having to wait over 20 days for money that is rightfully owed to me and my roommate and still not receiving it due too her unprofessionalism. I would never suggest anyone staying here going forward Or Ever Again!!! Ashley or Alicia which both are management are never available or able to resolve issues on this property.They continue to disrespect and dishonor this property for as long as they are...

Rooms are redone very nicely. Modern kitchen, very contemporary. Very tiny though. Clean. Front desk girls are sweet and nice. I especially like Michael the janitorial man, not sure his position but he seems to help out in cleaning. He is so warm and friendly and works so darn hard. He takes pride in his job and definitely needs the management to know how hard this guy works and he is always smiling. I have not seen anyone doing any drugs like the poster says below. I think he's just making an opinion b/c he prob. wants to stay at the Hyatt for these prices and doesn't want people around who are going through hard times, and may look that way. Hey, it's the economy..have compassion.

Things for the management to think about fixing: The bad thing is that the room key cards deactivate very easily. And there is no one at the front desk past 8pm. It can be very scary if your room key deactivates when no one is there, especially if it's freezing outside. They have a phone to call someone in case of emergency, but it doesn't make me feel safe to know that i can be locked out of my room. Some people have been locked out and almost had to sleep in their car, imagine if they didn't have their car keys and its very cold at night. Also, the internet never works. Hasn't worked in about 10 days. They say someone is fixing it, but it never gets fixed. They should have a backup system. The ground is covered with dog poop and it's disgusting that the visitors have no respect and leave their dog crap all over the grass and don't pick it up. The cleaning solution they use smells so bad, i can't stand when they are near my room and i can smell those disgusting toxic chemicals lingering in the air. There is no office desk in the room. Only a high kitchen bar where is the only place you can use your computer. The chair is too high for the table and my back has been killing me from having to lean over to see my computer and i cannot lie flat on my back now without pain. The beds are ok, not pillow-top though like the last hotel i stayed at. All in all, the room is clean. If only the internet worked and the key cards worked, then the place would get a higher...

No hot water, no water pressure, fridge couldn’t freeze ice. The plug in the bathroom was broke. The towel rack was broke. The toilet paper rack was broke. I asked about the shower and was ignored. After paying $360 for a week I told them I was going to renew for another week. They called my room but the phone didn’t work. I called back and they told me I needed to get to the office in 8 minutes or less to give them money for another week. When I got to the office the manager told me he wasn’t going to rent to me again because I was “late” according to him. I had no idea I had to pay for my weekly lease by 11am. No one explained that in order to get a room for a week I had to pay for it before 11am. I was under the impression if my card was on file and I said I was going to keep the room for another week then there was some sort of alleviation of the pressure to receive payment by a certain hour of the day. Finding out that isn’t the case is not a problem for me. But when I was told this I was also told I could not be rented to anymore. I explained to the manager that the only reason I wasn’t there earlier was because the phone in the room wasn’t working. He told me I was lying because he heard me talking to the girl at the desk. I told him I called her on my cell phone a few minutes after the phone rang. He insisted the phone worked and accepted no responsibility for any of the things I described about the Room. I told him I just wanted to pay and be done and didn’t want to argue with him. He then told me he wouldn’t rent to me at all and I had 30 minutes to vacate the premises. Stopping in very late on a cross country trip. Just needed a clean bed to get a few hours of sleep. The room we were provided was beyond disgusting. It smelled, was dirty, and looked like something out of hotel hell. There was blood stains on the bed, mystery stains on the curtains, the shower had body hair all over the tub. The counters were hacked up and missing doors. The one word would be disgraceful. Even at 2am in the morning I was not going to let my family stay in such a disgusting place. I brought it to the desk clerk who basically said it's not his issue and he doesn't have any control over the rooms- he offered to give me another room. The rooms were night and day different! Like two completely different hotels. Very well cleaned and updated. My advise to management is have a modicum of damn standards.... and don't EVER give a room that disgusting to a family- it should be a health board issue. If you are staying here and they try to give you room 159. Give the key back to them and say "no thanks" and keep driving.

So this was the best low costing hotel I’ve been in hands down. It’s a great location close to a lot of places to go. Not a big risk. Most of the staff is friendly. There is always that one. It was clean. I stayed 3 days. AC worked great and TV was great too. Downsides: No free WiFi??? Come on motel 6 it’s 2018 almost 19. You want 5.99 a week per device.... that’s just greedy! Cruise ships are starting to move away from that. bathroom small, but looked good. AC was great! But I feel it could have blown harder. Did have maid/ cleaning service.... but didn’t restock anything rags, towels, etc. just made the bed. Maids came around 8:30 or 9 most people that’s ok, but I work overnight so an option would have been nice. Also a few times I yelled no thank you from the bed but still entered... so a door hanger would help... However I still have to give over all experience a 5 out of . For $60.00 a night it felt like a great deal! It was like a Stay in the Marriott. On the inside.

Ashley is a horrible manager Alicia was fired but yet still comes back Ashley makes up what ever rules she think is fit even if they are not ok she needs to be reviewed and fired update** Ashley has charged me for a night even after I didn’t stay there I have the paper stating I cancelled my reservation and she refuses to return my money this place is nothing more then a scam until they get rid of the horrible management it will continue to run off good customers On a scale of one to 10 this hotel has got to be like a -3 from the management to the people who clean the rooms no professionalism at all someone needs to retrain the people who clean the rooms And it would be nice if management took some advice from Melissa and Cash because they actually know what they are doing and it’s clear this is only a check for the Alicia and Ashley crew

So this was the best low costing hotel I’ve been in hands down. It’s a great location close to a lot of places to go. Not a big risk. Most of the staff is friendly. There is always that one. It was clean. I stayed 3 days. AC worked great and TV was great too. Downsides: No free WiFi??? Come on motel 6 it’s 2018 almost 19. You want 5.99 a week per device.... that’s just greedy! Cruise ships are starting to move away from that. bathroom small, but looked good. AC was great! But I feel it could have blown harder.
