So unprofessional. Carlos canceled my appointment one hour before the actual appointment. He had texted me saying he was running ahead of schedule and was wondering if i could come in earlier. I was out and offered to come 30 minutes earlier before the scheduled appointment at 5pm. He abruptly canceled my appointment. These hairstylists think they’re all that asking for a card on a file and if WE cancel we get charged. This is not okay. I missed work for this and I could’ve made $200 tonight but he had to cancel my appointment because he doesn’t want to stay till 7pm. Like bro change your hours then and don’t confirm my appointment and cancel last minute. He also had the nerve to ask if I wanted to reschedule, yeah no thanks. Totally unprofessional and rude...

After going to multiple salons in Phoenix and not being satisfied at all, I was recommended Amaro salon for my son's haircut. His hair is VERY CURLY and not everyone knows how to manage it. The tons of advice Charlie has given my son are truly remarkable and appreciated. He is welcoming, knowledgeable, patient and kind. Charlie and his assistant Monica have worked really hard to bring shine and enhance the beauty of my son's natural curls. I am beyond satisfied for their service. I have been to see Charlie at Amaro Hair and Skin a few times now and it is exceptional service and outcomes each time. He is very intentional in making sure you know what you want before you start and throughout the whole proceeds. He checks in with you, makes sure you are comfortable, and gives you great advice on how to take care of your hair. He also does an incredible job with kids and teens.
