Overall: A nice place to stay, though it felt more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel.
Rooms: The rooms were comfortable but featured slightly older décor. The main downside was the doors—they were difficult to close and very loud. It wasn’t just our room; you could hear doors slamming throughout the village.
Cleanliness: The room was clean upon arrival, but there was no daily turndown service. During our four-day stay, no one came to collect trash or provide fresh towels, which was disappointing.
Service: The front desk staff was polite and courteous during check-in. However, we received no assistance getting to our room. After arriving by Uber, we had to walk nearly two football fields with our luggage to reach our building. Although golf carts were available, no one offered us a ride, which would have made the experience much more pleasant.
Location: Limited access to food if you traveled without vehicle. Nothing in walking distance other than the clubhouse...
Read moreThe rooms are sizeable. However, the closet was missing a knob. The door to the bathroom was very difficult to close and needed to be fixed. There is a nice pool area. The water was too cold for most of the people sitting around the area, including myself. The pool closed at 6:00 due to no pool lights on one side. We arrived at the property at 11:00am. and requested an early check-in. The staff said they would contact us when the room was ready. It was after 3:00pm before we were able to check in so there was no accommodation for us. Also, upon check-in, be aware that there is a $300.00 deposit per room. I was not aware of this and had reserved 2 rooms, so $600.00 deposit was a little suprise to me. You are also asked to watch a 90 min presentation of the resorts that are offered. This was not disclosed either prior to check-in. We did have a njce stay, but for a Whyndam property it was not up to my...
Read moreThe rooms are nice, but they have forgotten how to use the vacuum and wash the floors with water! Security doesn’t watch the building very well… There was a homeless car parked in the parking lot and the guy was taking a pee in the parking lot and security walked right past. Disgusting! We complain to the front desk and the manager, Kelly just made excuses about everything. Security came and talked to us and said they handled the situation. Unfortunate that a customer has to bring it to their attention. we watched housekeeping walk past garbage that was on the ground twice and finally we picked it up in front of them to prove a point. Sad for people who pay a lot of money to be part of this membership. we pay a lot of money in dues each month to not worry about these kind...
