We had to attend a funeral in Motebello on February 2, after further review we found some negative issues having to do with uncomfortable high bed, loud noise and rude front desk. We read the most reviews been positive so we decided to give this place a try anyways. We drove two hours to get to Montebello on Friday afternoon. Upon our arrival about two o’clock my wife went to the front desk to check in, everything went ok except the rudeness at front desk continued. She was not greeted with a hello or Good Afternoon. We went to the room, got settle in and decided to take a two hour nap. At that point we first were awaken by very loud music from the room next door for about 15 minutes, then music got even louder, and next the loud love making really got out of hand for us to stand it. My wife decided to go to the front desk to request to be move from that room, she was told that the Hotel was booked. While she was on the way down I was looking for availability online and indeed there were rooms free. She came back to the room and notified me of what went down with front desk. At that time we were ready to leave to another hotel but my wife decided to go to the front desk again, it took all this for the front desk to come up and check for himself that we we’re being disturbed by the room next door. He implied to my wife that she was lying about the loud music. He claimed that he came up and did not hear any loud music. So she asked him to come to the room and he heard the loud music. She asked him, if the music continues will he refund her the lodging so we could move to a quieter hotel? First he said yes and then he changed his mind. He got upset at my wife for speaking Spanish with me on the phone from the front desk because he thought she said something rude about him and that was not the case. She was just frustrated with the loud music from next door. She just wanted the front desk to take care of the problem. Throughout the night there was still noise coming from next door. We decided to leave the fan on from the restroom to buffer the noise coming from the neighbors. It was late already and we had to attend the funeral very early in the morning. We didn’t want to deal with the hassle anymore. The front desk needs to work on their customer service skills. Obviously the new posted sign (under new management does not mean...

Read moreOmg omg love love love, just love this quaint yet very modern n contemporary style hotel/Inn☺️☺️. It's unique exterior makes you wonder as to what type of a building it is unil you drive in. Lots of car park space n there are a few rooms where can park directly in front of. Our room was along a corridor very well lit n clean. Very modern door key system - scan to open. Very spacious room bright n airy n fresh. All the mod cons you like in a room n very modern decor. The bathroom is spacious, well lit n also very modern. The rooms even have fridge/freezer so was good to be able to store left overs n cool drinks. Samsung lat screens well mouted in the wall, the king bed was new n had an amazing sleep on it, very comfortable with fresh clean sheets n nice to have a warm blanket stored in the cupboard. Iron n ironing board-wow!! All in all I loved everything about the hotel. The associates were very friendly n polite too which was nice. Small reception area with a small lounge area n dining tables neatly set up. We would be booking this again that's for sure. Right across the road is a very nice 24hrs diner called NORM, with great associates n amazing food. So all in all 5* all round for this hotel n certainly highly recommended by all...
