I stayed here with my teen daughter while we were in town for a dance competition. We chose to stay here mainly because of reviews about cleanliness, and we were not disappointed! The room was so clean, and when I crawled into the plush comfy bed, I could smell that the linens were just washed, and it was a very soothing feeling. I had a wonderful sleep!|Our hosts, Yvonne and Jake, were so accommodating and friendly to talk to. Yvonne gave us a nice tour of the rooms when we arrived, and told us everything we needed to know for our stay. |The next morning, we had the most fabulous breakfast as well as friendly genuine conversation with Yvonne and Jake in the beautiful common dining area. |My daughter and I loved the attention to detail, and the special little touches (like the sweet Valentine decorations and the little basket of snacks by the entry, which were a nice treat for the road). Everything seems well cared for, and you can tell the owners love what they do. |Unfortunately, we did not get to explore the area at all because impending snow cut our trip shorter than planned. But as a beautiful, comfortable, clean place to sleep, and a delicious breakfast to follow, the Inn on Holly exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone...
Read moreYvonne and Jake worked ( and still work as Innkeepers) tirelessly on this beautiful property they are rightfully proud to call their home. Many guests (some famous) have graced these rooms with their repeated stays during entertainment engagements at the Broadway, on Broadway adjacent to Holly Avenue, along with some anxious parents of (Rowan, formerly Glassboro State) University students who've come to town to accompany, drop off and later visit their kids, no doubt feeling better having left them to a community of first class folks like Yvonne and Jake. I personally had the pleasure of staying at the Inn the weekend of our Rosemarie DeRose's son's wedding. And of course we, the gang, get together as often as possible to celebrate birthdays, graduations, and the Holidays. Incidentally, Christmas at the Inn is not to be missed, when you'll see Yvonne's nothing but tasteful transformation of the parlours to kindle and evoke the authentic Victorian Yuletide Spirit of the Season. It is an honor to call these Innkeepers my friends, who've stood by all of us through thick and thin, and it is without hesitation or solicitation that I give this resounding endoresement and heartfelt greeting. Ciento anni, mi amici. Always, your...
Read moreWe thought that it would be a treat to stay in this beautiful Inn while we visited family in Pitman for Thanksgiving. I'm joining the chorus of reviewers that loved this place! Jake and Yvonne have spared no expense or effort to make the experience perfect. ||The Christmas decorations were beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were lovely. We had a king room with our own bathroom, which was across the hall. ||||It was so nice to stroll the town, which is so cute. It would make a nice little escape for a couple - walk to breweries and restaurants. The historic Broadway theater is starting to have shows again. There is also a certified historic area - the Pitman Grove camp meeting, which is also close-by. Its an short drive to golf, Rowan University and around an hour from the shore.||||I'd like to come back in warmer weather to enjoy breakfast...
