Nine Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Pitman

Good food but HORRIBLE service and the food isn’t good enough for me to pick it over other Thai places. I guess that’s why there’s never any people eating inside. Went in today to get Pad Thai to go. After ordering I noticed it’s on the lunch special and comes with soup/roll. I asked the server/cashier if they rang it as the lunch special or regular. They said regular because I didn’t mention the lunch special so I asked if she could just give me the sides. Didn’t even ask for a refund because the regular price is more than the lunch special by a few dollars and I figured giving the money back would be a hassle. She said no because the order was already being made and the lunch portion is smaller. So then give me less and just add soup/bread into the bag. She walked away!! The worst Thai cuisine I have ever been to. I went there with my gf, and this was my experience here. The food was edible. I ordered Thai tom yum and it was like a frozen tiny shrimp in BJ’s.The fried rice and noodles were both the same which were so bad. They don't cook the food as a restaurant, they do these Instant things that everyone can buy in any supermarket. The service was extremely terrible, the waitress that day was so slow(even with 2 tables dining in). The worst experience I had on that day was even though everything disappointed me, I was happy to put the tips on the table, and the waitress talked to me loudly “You only give me $6 for tips”. Did I need to give her more with this bad service and terrible food? I would say yes to her, but I just wanted to go right away to that restaurant, so I kept silent. The first and last...

Service and atmosphere were great. So im not going to talk about that. The food, in my personal opinion, was the only 3 star. But I am a super picky eater. So maybe add a star if you're not. Here are the things I try. Cheesecake Brulee 5/5 The only thing is if they reduce the berry sauce and serve it as a glaze. It will be better. Thai Ice Tea 4/5 Bit sweet Thai Cucumber Pickle 5/5 Tom Yom Soup 2/5 Flavorless Pad Thai Wings 4/5 Tad plain Siam Steak 3/5 Beef looks okay. Can't complain. But the green curry with it was weak. It was a pale green, so not enough thai green chile and too much coconut milk. So, not enough herbs, maybe. They do have to serve the local population, so that may be why they can't add too much.
