Super 8 by Wyndham Plymouth — Hotel in Plymouth

Checked in here, using a company credit card with no problems, The next day and attendant came into my room and woke me up and threatened me with the police if I didn’t give them a card for incidental purposes after telling her to use the company card i checked in with, Which they should’ve got at check-in But didn’t because of negligence on their part. So I came out to give them a different card & she asked me did I want her to use the Company card? I went off the handle a little and told her it was weird and wrong for her to come into my room and wake me up like that. I then went outside to smoke in their designated smoking area She then came and said that I was smoking marijuana when I was clearly smoking a cigarette And that I was too close to the building, So I went back into my room with no further incident that night. I was notified of my termination from my job the next day because she charged my room $150 each night for smoking When I was on camera several times going outside to smoke. I lost my career behind this woman’s lies n now a single father of two trying to find a new career all because she was upset i called her out when she was wrong. Will never stay in anything super eight related or recommend to anyone. 0/10 stay away from this place especially if staying...

Was there from Wednesday to Sunday morning my son is special needs and loves there heated pool I had no problems with this establishment until my last stay. On Friday morning I went to pay for my room again for another night. and I went back to my room from the desk to see on my phone I was charged $37 more then the night before and a extra charge of $150 with out asking me. I went back to the desk and they said it's a $150 hold to make sure there's no damages and I will get it back as soon as I check out. So I just delt with it but that's almost $190 they took from me with out talking to me about it at all. The problem is that $150 should of been collected and explained when I first checked in. So I called my bank and they said the hotel has it on hold still. That I could dispute the whole payment but I would have to open a investigation. But it would take even longer to get my money. Or I can get the hotel to print me a paper saying my balance is 0 and they can instant give me my money back. But the lady on the phone was super rude and even hung up on me saying I just need to wait a day. The money was taken on Friday it's now Tuesday. When I first arrived in my room there was a strong mildew smell. The carpets were stained and I assume there must have been water damage recently. The smell was so strong, I was considering asking for a new room. Upon checking the cleanliness of my room I noticed a different smell coming from the bathroom. I was horrified to discover that the rooms shower had urine all over the inside of the tub. Someone had used the shower as a urinal and was left by the cleaning staff. I immediately reported the urine to the front desk and the staff member came to check if there was really urine in my shower and confirmed that it was in fact urine. I asked to be moved rooms and the front desk clerk said she was unsure if there were any other open rooms so my daughter and I waited in the room until we were able to be moved to the second floor. I was told that the manager would speak to me regarding the filth but the situation was never addressed. I believe the rooms to be poorly cared for. I honestly would have left immediately, but did not have anywhere else to go with my child. I have never experienced anything this disgusting in my life in a hotel stay. I was extremely...
