ALDI — Local services in Plymouth

This Aldis in Plymouth In. Was dirty the shelves were not stocked . I had to go thru the regular check out because you can’t ck yourself out if you pay with cash . I bought 4 bags and was putting groceries on the conveyer and I ask the woman checking me out where my bags were ?? She said I don’t know ?? You didn’t buy bags ( really). I said well I thought I bought some bags. She looked at the receipt and said oh yes you bought 4 . I afk where they were and they were under my groceries the bread . I had to unload my cart to bag my groceries . I told her I wasn’t in a hurry and don’t like to be rushed I at least wanted to put my change in my purse. She said I’m being timed I’m on a time frame ????? Really I won’t be shopping there anymore. It’s dirty. The bathroom and store smell like...

We used the online app to place a pick up order. We arrived on time and couldn't get the system to acknowledge our arrival. After we went inside the instacart shopper knew we had arrived, but could not give us our groceries-due to a glitch in the app on their end.

We had already paid for the groceries and asked for a refund which apparently they could not do? The store eventually called in an additional manager-who had to drive in. An hour later we had our groceries and a $5 gift card…honestly, the incompetence and lack of training on the instacart app was just embarrassing. We won’t be using the...

I am quite surprised by this Aldi’s location. I have been to other Aldi’s during this pandemic and was shocked at the checkout. Other Aldi’s have an employee assigned to solely disinfecting carts. This Aldi’s location you do it yourself which is fine. When you go to checkout though, they are still doing the old you get the cart from the person in front of you after you disinfected it for your own use. The other Aldi’s that have the cleaning employee, wait for you to finish unloading and you can use your same cart. It doesn’t take long and at least you don’t have to have the cart from...
