I’m usually the kind of person that lets things slide, however, I was gifted a new IPhone and when it was set up (by apple) they put it under my husband’s number. Long story short, I needed to figure out how to make it my phone number. I called AT&T first to figure it out to which the guy pretty much told me I should just bring it in. Then, I get to the store since it deactivated my husband’s phone. So the man that helped me said like 4 sentences to me. He took all the cases off phones, swapped around the SIM cards, and then proceeded to speak to me like I was a child. His demeanor would have made a great waiter at Dick’s last resort, but NOT a good customer service rep. While I was trying to explain the text notifications that were popping up on my screen, he CONTINUOUSLY cut me off with an explanation that didn’t even apply to what I was doing. If he had just let me finish, he may have been able to give me a true explanation of what was wrong. We’ll never know if he possesses that knowledge or not since he couldn’t answer the question I was asking!! He was short and rude. He wasted so much of both of our time when all he had to tell me over the phone was “once you activate your new phone, switch the SIM cards around.” I’ll make the drive to South Bend or Mishawaka if I need anymore help from AT&T. Jeez, I’ll even try a shot with the phone center guy from India. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead one 1 is because he did TECHNICALLY...

Read moreI have no idea what is wrong with cell phone companies but I was with Verizon, got hung up on because I complained about $400 per month and no service half the time. I switched to patriot and had 2 good people to work with but they were in sales and the technical support is horrible they use t mobile and AT&T towers ( which is a big problem for technical support). My company phone stopped working for the 2nd time on a Friday and there's no one there until Monday and the lady there was rude, called me a lier and wanted to spend weeks trouble shooting my phone which I already did. So, I went to at&t to just totally switch to them and they told me that I had to have a new phone and plan which is fine with me BUT that I can't use my existing phone number SO I asked them if they are going to pay $5000 to have my phone number switched on all my advertising and call around 500 of my existing customers to let them know what my new phone number is. They said sorry but we can't help you. I really wish more people would start using ham radio again so that I can give the phone companies the double barrel...
