Budget Lodge — Hotel in Poquoson

The Budget Lodge in Newport News is cheaper and the best motel in the state of Virginia. The prices never goes up on weekends. The Budget Lodge is walking distance from the motel. It's quiet, peaceful, it has excellent A/C during Summer seasons. The heater is excellent during winter seasons. You can stay at the Budget Lodge weekly, depends on how much the price will be. The Budget Lodge is the best motel room in town. It's closer to the interstate I64. If your hungry you can order whatever fast food you want as long as it's delivery. Like.. Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Domino's pizza, Chinese food delivery or go to food Lion and get some food if your gonna stay at the Budget Lodge more than a week. I rated the Budget Lodge a 5 star. Any other motel rooms are expensive on the weekends. Like.. The Super 8 motel, Thrift Inn motel, Days Inn motel, Relax Inn motel, Quality Inn motel, all of the motels that I have mentioned are too pricy and expensive on the weekends. You got some motels that wants 1500.00 a night. Like the Embassy Suite, Red Roof Inn, Marriott motel, these motels that I have mentioned are way way too pricy and expensive. If I were you. Sheryl's were dirty, spots and all. When pulled back the sheets there was hair and dirt on the mattress cover. Itched for the little bit I did try to sleep. When went and tried to speak to management or rather as both older men claimed they were managers, I was told that I could've came and asked for new sheets, however new and clean sheets should've been placed in the bed prior to giving a key to a customer. Without customers,you gave no business, and rather than argue or try to make a valid point which they couldn't do as a MANAGER we accommodate our guest..also when I said that point plaza or any other establishment would do no such thing, his reply to me was point plaza is a different place AND they are a hotel, budget is a motel. Um,budget needs to be closed down, because to say such a thing says hotels give cleanliness, motels don't. Unacceptable, and disgusting. He said he was the GM, a GM can and would accompany it refund a customer.I am highly dissatisfied and will also report this to the BBb.. they need new staff and training on customer...

The air conditioner did not work the remote control did not work I went to tell the attendant she gave me another room you could not deadbolt lock the new room I could not get her to answer I’m knocking on the door again to complain I decided to go to sleep anyway woke up in the middle of night there was a piece of black tape on my arm that I had gotten from the inside the bed I don’t know how, the bathroom was too dirty to take a shower I would never ever stay there if I wasn’t too tired and the freeway was backed up going through the tunnel over 12 miles that was my mistake I should’ve stayed...
