1. I did not see notes that this hotel is under renovation. I try to avoid that. But it’s a good thing because updates are WAY past due. 2. Front desk was nice, nothing above and beyond. But if they are the frontline to the anger and frustration of the state of this hotel I’d understand a little subdued response. They did not mention the renovation and it wasn’t until we were in the room that I saw the card stating the fitness center was closed (they did offer a pass to a local fitness center, but again not stated from the front desk). 3. The smells! I get used to a little moist musk smell in S Florida. But this was a blend of pot, mold, cat pee? It was disgusting. 4. The floors, our room had cut out carpet chunks, I’m going to hazard a guess that there was water damage based on the floorboards and smells. 5. No black out shade. It had been ripped out? I’m guessing or the whole thing just deteriorated. You can see where the curtain was supposed to be, but due to lights around the hotel this meant our room was in a state of high illumination throughout the evening. 6. Bed mattress - with 2 queens one seemed to be from this decade, the other? Held the shape of the thousands of bodies that had rolled to the depression in the middle of the smooshy mattress. 7. Bathroom was just old. Functional, surprising to see little tiny bottles instead of the refill shampoos and conditioner containers that have replaced this wasteful product. 8. USB - seriously replacing a lamp at some point would have given us a few USB ports to plug into. None in the room. 9. Coffee station - honestly it didn’t even feel like I was at an IHG. It was like some middle of nowhere cheap motel. But at least it was there. Hot coffee, styrofoam cup. 10. Safety of the parking lot. We got home from dinner and there was some random parking lot party going on. Loud laughter and beers as a group hung out at a car. Front desk knew as she was standing out front when we walked in. We didn’t even try the breakfast. Left early. We planned a trip to see our family and could not stay here. We ended up changing hotels. Please stay away, call and make sure the renovation is done and they have increased security.

We reserved a room for 2 nights, 4/5/25 and 4/6/25. Upon checking into the hotel, we immediately detected a musty odor. As we made our way to our room, we discovered a leak due to ongoing construction. We observed several code violations, including electrical wires resting on sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers that were past their expiration dates. Once in our room, the strong mold smell caused burning sensations in our noses, prompting us to contact Holiday Inn Customer Service to express our dissatisfaction and request a cancellation of our reservation. Given the health risks, staying there was not an option for us. They contacted the hotel manager on our behalf. Although the hotel policy allowed cancellations until 6 PM, the manager informed us he could only cancel our second night, not the first. We reached out to Holiday Inn Customer Service again and were assured that we would not be charged for either night. However, a charge for one night appeared on our credit card on Monday, April 7. We contacted customer service once more and were told that the charge would be reversed, but that has yet to happen. There was no indication on any website that the hotel was undergoing renovations or repairs. I will not stay at a Holiday Inn or any of its affiliates again and have shared our negative experience. A review was posted on the Holiday Inn website, which led to a reply from the customer service team. The email stated, "I have looked into the case previously managed by our Guest Relations Team. They worked with the hotel and verified that the refund and incidental charges have been processed. For further updates, please contact your financial institution. We stand by the resolution offered to address your concerns." As of April 18, 2025, the refund has not yet been received. I do not reccomend this hotel until significant renovations are completed and all code violations are addressed.

Do not let the pool lure you to stay here…it’s a distraction to the nightmare you are about to endure. Unfortunately we are stuck here for 7 nights. We ended up with 4 room changes and the current room is barely better. We arrived very late and just wanted to get to bed after air travel all day. The 1st room was horrible! The bed was wet from moisture, my feet turned black from the carpet, the carpet was wet, the door was falling apart on the inside from moisture and the smell of mold was enough to make you vomit. We made it 30 minutes in that room. I went and spoke with the manager on duty and we were moved. The next room was worse, if you can get any worse. We were then given multiple rooms to go see to pick from….we found 1 which did not meet our bed need of two beds. My travel partner slept on the floor. The next morning we were moved to a renovated room. The door is yet again falling apart, but at least the carpet was ripped out. This is the worst IHG hotel I have ever stayed in. A red roof inn or super 8 would be a huge improvement from this hotel. I do not understand how this hotel can be associated with IHG. Unfortunately we are fully paid for our week so just getting up and going to a new hotel is not possible until the bank opens after the holiday weekend. Again, do NOT stay here if you value your health and if you typically stay at IHG for the niceness, freshness and amenities. Whoever this owner is should be ashamed of themselves as a business owner and IHG better disassociate themselves with this particular hotel before people stop staying with the IHG brand. The health department should also shut this place down for the filth of the rooms.

We traveled across the country for our daughter's team to play in the Babe Ruth Softball World Series. The tournament is a stay-to-play tournament meaning we are required to stay at one of the pre-selected hotels from the Babe Ruth League. Based on photos provided and what we read, we chose this selection. This hotel was full to the brim with at least 5 other teams and their families. The lobby was nice however, once we opened the door to our rooms, everything went downhill from there. The rooms STUNK of mold and mildew...so bad that all of us went and purchased electric air fresheners and room deodorizer so we could stand to be in there. After taking off our shoes, the floor was damp as were the bedsheets....every single day and night! Even after a cleaning service, the sheets were never dry. The bathroom was gross and stunk just as bad as the rest of the room. There was unnecessary furniture in the room which also made the space much smaller than it needed to be. The first full day into our required 9-night stay, one of the 2 elevators started having issues, i.e. getting stuck between floors, etc. On day 2 or 3, said elevator went completely out of commission. Now you have a completely full hotel with guests carrying gear bags, coolers, etc. forced to wait for 1 elevator that took FOREVER! And then, at about the middle of our stay, we boarded the elevator on the 3rd floor to go down. Even though the elevator was on it's way up, we got on because as long as you had to wait and with the large amount of guests, if you waited, you didn't have a spot when the next opportunity arose. We went up to the 5th floor and were coming back down with a full elevator when it jammed in between the 4th & 3rd floors. My husband is claustrophobic and after several minutes, started to have a panic attack. Shortly after, the elevator JOLTED and dropped to the 3rd floor! Doors open and my husband bolted. He was pulling our fully loaded cooler as we were heading to a game. He took the stairs, dragging that cooler down every single one. And he still beat us to the main floor! His panic attack lasted for at least an hour! After that, we refused to take the elevator and resorted to the stairs. One instance, we were heading for breakfast and upon reaching the last step and stepping onto the floor, my foot slid out from underneath me and I feel backwards on the steps, spilling my coffee and resulting in large bruises on my upper right arm, back and buttocks. The reason for the fall...they floor had just been mopped and was wet...with no sign! The janitor was mopping the hallway outside the stairwell door, heard the commotion and poked her head in and realized her mistake...but, it was too late! We had to request towels 3 times in the span of 2 days because no one would ever bring them to our room and if we went to the counter, they would tell us that they would take care of it and yet never did. Your photos are misleading, the smell and mold needs to be addressed, the damp floors & bedding need to be handled and for the love of God, fix the elevators!!! Especially when you know you are going to be at full capacity for the span of 10 days, get everything in tip-top working order! This hotel had to be booked for this tournament nearly 2 weeks in advance of the tournament so there was ample time to make sure everything was fixed and ready! As well, we were told we were receiving a team discount but that was not the case as looking at bookings while I was staying there, were cheaper than what we were paying! We had originally extended our trip by 2 nights so we could have a tiny vacation once the tournament ended but the 2nd day, I cancelled our last 2 nights and rebooked at another area hotel for a much nicer experience and...

I stayed at this property for one night by myself in January 2024. I booked a two-double bed room through the IHG app even though I was only staying by myself due to it being somewhat cheaper than the single-queen that was also offered. Upon arrival, it was evident from the exterior that this hotel was extremely outdated, originally constructed in 1988. When I first stepped foot into the lobby a strong musty/humid odor hit me in the face. There are multiple signs throughout the hotel informing guests of ongoing renovations, according to the chart in the lobby only the pool area has been completed at the time of my stay. The way they are doing the renovations is by shutting down half of each of the five floors, literally. When you stepped off of the elevator the left side of the floor was sectioned off with plastic which I thought was a smarter approach than doing floor-by-floor.|| The room I was assigned was very dated as well as humid and musty. Everything in there screamed 1980’s and there is no way that it had ever been renovated within the last 20 years at least. I can't believe that IHG let their brand be attached to it with the sub-par condition it was in. However, I was able to make the best of my stay. I was able to eliminate the musty smell somewhat and eliminate a lot of the dampness by turning off the constant fan setting on the PTAC (A/C) unit in the room. I will give it to the housekeeping team though, even though the room was in pretty poor condition structurally; they kept it as immaculate as anyone could. The shower was good and I split comfortably, there were enough outlets for me to charge my phone and iPad, but there were no USB ports available.|| This hotel has a full restaurant and bar. I had breakfast in the restaurant, which was full-service; not a continental breakfast like a Holiday Inn Express or some Holiday Inn’s. The server whose name I do not recall was very nice and she was extremely attentive. Phillip, who was the cook was excellent; he had my food out in no time and it was delicious. I got the special that included two pancakes, two breakfast meat (I chose sausage), and two eggs, also of your choice. I got a coffee and an extra side of toast so it ran me about $16 which was a fair price for what I got, you're not going to eat at the Denny’s across the street for any less; plus the tip of course.|| I requested a noon check-out which was an hour past the normal 11 AM time. That was granted as expected and I departed without any issues. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but, the quality of the property was certainly lacking. With that being said, the staff was terrific throughout my entire time there. Hopefully, their full renovation will be completed soon; when that does happen, and I am in PSL again I will...
