Has anyone ever tried hot pot? This was a first for me and a place I have been looking to try for a couple years. Yum yum Hot pot gives you a base, see the picture above, then it's kind of like a buffet where you get some either raw or precooked meat, veggies, seafood, dumplings, noodles and others. Then once you're back at your table you add stuff into the base and let it cook. Once it's done you eat it like soup, you get bowls to put it in and enjoy. You can make a sauce to add to it which I enjoyed, I used oyster sauce, a house sauce and garlic mixed together. Definitely a fun date night idea. Watch the steam, it is everywhere. As far as service, our server was not very attentive and I tend to drink a lot of water, so it's how I usually measure the attentiveness. We got there and it was a little slow and I get that but it got busier but there was a lot of time spent on the bigger groups, avoiding us so that did not do well with me. They also did not explain how to do anything my date said she had been there once, a long time ago and the server said oh you can explain it then, well no, it changes from time to time so that did not do well. Overall it wasn't a bad experience just could have been very easily improved.

I went in for a soup to go. Didn’t know much about the place but the one lady was so friendly and helpful. She took me to the buffet area and explained all the different things to me, so I knew what choices to put in my soup. She was so nice & helpful. The sit down part looked like it would be a fun place to eat. It was very clean. I brought my soup back to the hotel, added in the sauce they give you for it and started eating. The veggies in the soup were so hard. Like the broccoli was like it was just plucked off the stalk and dropped in, the onion chunks were huge, the carrots were hard and the noodles weren’t plentiful. But I chose the shrimp/pork wontons although they do give you 5 of them, they were so mushy. The pork bone broth I chose had absolutely no flavor. It’s a cute place, good service, and clean. But I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for good food and FLAVOR, at all, for your dish. Maybe I missed out on something, but that’s what I got and that’s how it was.

I love this place, you walk in and immediately get seated, they sat us down and explained to us how to... I guess you would say how to "hot pot" and then let us pick out what we wanted to eat. Because of COVID, the little conveyor belts don't go around, but that's fine. My first impression on the food was that it all looked yummy, but it was also frozen and raw (or pre cooked) so you had to make sure you cooked it all the way since you cook it yourself. You take your plate that you put stuff on and head back to your table, scoop all the stuff in the prepared pot that will be there when you get back, and stir it around. It's really a great concept too, you get to cook your own food! Once the food is done cooking, you put it into a cute tiny bowl and enjoy! Really loved this place, will definitely be coming back with some friends! 5 stars for sure

We had a great experience our first time here. I got the veggie broth and my son ordered the spicy broth (he was not a fan of the whole peppercorns though). I believe the other options are: chicken broth, coconut, pork bone, and I cant remember the others. The variety of proteins at the buffet station were great, in my opinion. There was beef, lamb, pork, chicken, squid, crab (real), crab (imitation), shrimp, scallops, mussels, fish, tripe, flank steak, pork belly, pork bone, fried tofu, tofu, beancurd, dumplings (and I'm sure I am missing other items), shrimp balls, pork balls, rice noodles, and udon noodles. The sauce bar was fun, I really enjoy mixing sauces so this was great for me! Some of the sauces available: fish, oyster, vinegar, soy, hoison, sriracha, chili paste, sesame paste, sesame oil, a house sauce, plus cilantro, garlic, scallions, ginger, hot pepper (again, I'm sure I am missing other items). There are also dessert items: ice cream, fruit, and a few mini cakes/pastries. At your station/table, the veggies glide by on a "conveyor" belt and you grab what you like to add to the pot. I said "conveyor" in quotes because there is no visible belt, per se. You add the ingredients to your broth/hot pot which sits in a heating vessel that is built in to your station/table and let it cook for a few minutes. Remove the cooked ingredients with the slotted spoon and place them in a bowl. I added some broth to my bowl and some of my custom sauce. It was a very good dish! Personally, I preferred the thinly sliced beef and lamb over the seafood options. It can be a little pricey, but it is all-you-can-eat. It is worth it, inmy opinion. Note that they do charge extra for wasted food. So be sure not too load up your plate with too much food. You can always go back up to the buffet station if you need more. Recommend giving it a try. I know we will be...

I regret to say that my recent dining experience at Yum Yum Hot Pot was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that this restaurant had no regard for its customers or their time.

To start with, the closing hours listed on their website were completely incorrect. I arrived with my friends for a late dinner, only to find the doors locked and the lights turned off. This was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient, especially after making plans and traveling to the restaurant. Their lack of attention to such a basic detail is unacceptable and shows a complete disregard for their patrons.

When we tried to address the issue with the staff, their response was shockingly rude and unapologetic. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they dismissed us with an indifferent attitude, as if it was our fault for trusting their own website. Their customer service was downright abysmal, leaving us feeling disrespected and undervalued as customers.

Even if we had managed to dine at Yum Yum Hot Pot, I doubt the experience would have been any better. The overall ambiance of the place was lackluster, with dim lighting and a gloomy atmosphere. The tables and floors appeared unclean, which further heightened our disappointment and discomfort.

In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how disappointing my encounter with Yum Yum Hot Pot was. Their incorrect closing hours and rude staff are clear indicators of their lack of professionalism and respect for customers. I will not be returning to this establishment, and I strongly advise others to reconsider dining here as well. There are plenty of other restaurants that prioritize their customers and provide a pleasant dining experience, and Yum Yum Hot Pot is not...
