Where do I start? When I arrived at the hotel, I got greeted by the nice night shift lady who also disagreed with the way that I was treated. The room we originally had gotten in had blood stains on the sheets as if maybe bedbugs have been there. There’s a cockroach in the bathroom along with mold. Moved rooms. It looked a little better. I couldn’t afford to pay another deposit at another hotel seeing as you don’t know how long it takes to get the deposit back, I had gotten in the other room. The heat didn’t work. It was freezing. The pool that is supposed to be heated. I was informed by staff the heating pump is going out in it so needless to say it is very cold almost unbearable. They advertise that they have a hot tub when according to a review about a week ago it was broke down and then when I went apparently, they’re just taking it out. My family and I still tried to make light of the situation as I tried to do and we were being a little loud Sunday morning around 10 AM or so, but rather than The man that was working the front desk that morning, politely calling, and asking us to quiet down or even gently knocking on the door, he banged on the door so loud to the point is startled my children, as I proceeded to open the door, He screamed and said “I can hear you guys all the way downstairs you need to quiet down” When I checked out Monday morning, I talked to the owner or manager or whoever she was I proceeded to tell her I would like a refund because I don’t appreciate how unprofessional her staff is and how dirty the rooms were. I went through Expedia to try to get my money refunded and she refuses to refund my money even with time and date stamped photos of the cockroaches and the black mold and the stains on the sheets. She said that she would pull the footage about her employee and I don’t believe that she even did that. I had went back to the hotel to ask her to approve my refund because she denied that those pictures were from her hotel to Expedia and she claimed that I had been damaged the rooms. I was barely in the rooms due to how nasty they were. I think the longest I stayed in that room was maybe two hours one day, I did deliveries with my children most of the day. Needless to say this hotel is ran down nasty. They advertise they have breakfast, but all it is is really thin pieces of ham biscuits and some nasty eggs. They have poor customer service and they are beyond unprofessional I would never recommend this hotel to anybody stay far away .
I was finally able to get this hotel...
Read moreThis place has a history of complaints about bed bugs and I believe it by the looks of it! Also the staff here are rude, poorly trained, and terrible with communication! You can find them outside sitting on the bench. Not behind the desk. The desk clerk when I first called gave me a price of $93 for each of the 2 rooms I reserved. When I checked in they had me sign a paper agreeing to the price of $99 of a nightly rate for each room (which I assumed would be after taxes and etc). They directed me to have all my guests check in at the front since we were arriving at different times in different cars. I did exactly that and assumed the price would remain since I had a total of 8 guests including me in 2 double bedded rooms (4 in each room, 2 in each double bed). It also did not have in the terms of conditions or anywhere stated anywhere that after 4 guests it would be $10 each person! When I asked about the whereabouts of this rule no one on staff, including the managers, could point it out. I understand that there are many hotels out there that charges for more people to stay in a room, but I was transparent about my additional guests before I completed check in and they still had me sign off on the standard set of charges without noticing me that it would extend. The desk clerk during check out called me unbelievable in front of several guests because I wanted to take a picture of my bill, which neither breaks down the extra charges. Just a greater price. They also lied and said I returned to the desk and told them there was only 1 person in each room. This would not make sense because I put 6 cars on my file for my rooms. We did receive one call about a noise complaint, but after that we turned the music we were playing off and went to sleep. When I spoke to them about my bill, all they would bring up is the noise complaint we resolved. This is a place that requires you to respect them as a business but not respect you as customer. It is a cheap stay, but you get way less than what you pay for. Go to another hotel like Econo Lodge. It's...
Read moreWe paid extra for a room to accommodate the adult guests on our visit to use the hot tub as we were rudely told that our 4 guests couldn't use their resources when visiting without paying (we are military visiting from out of state!) We clearly stated that only the 4 kids in the group would be swimming in the pool, the adults may use the hot tub depending but we weren't even sure. They still insisted we had to get another room (mind you we have used this hotel numerous times since 1990 when people visited our family at Fort Knox & have never had this issue). We complied & got the extra room just to find out the hot tub was empty! We said the word hot tub numerous times as we were stressing that was the most any adult in the group would use if at all & only the 4 kids were using the pool. We confronted them as knowing that would have changed the entire situation & we wouldn't have went over guests by 3 &been forced to get another room. They stated they didn't have to inform us of anything when it came to their hot tub because they will no longer have one. Well, it says you do on your website (attached screenshot of the website from today), we gave them plenty of opportunities during our check in to tell us it was no longer there. They claimed more people in our group swam which is false. We would LOVE to see cameras if available. 4 kids swam in the pool with a larger group of people from other rooms, the adults sat at the table next to the "hot tub" and played cards the entire time. We shared 2 females in group had swim tops on with leggings but no swim bottoms due to temperature (understandably hot not complaining just stating why we were in swim tops) we never touched water! This was falsely advertised online as well as at the front desk. We asked for a refund for 1 room not both as the kids did swim. A gentleman at the front desk did check the unused room &confirmed it was never used it. We took pictures of the room as well. Don't advertise amenities...
