Casitas at Terranea West — Hotel in Rancho Palos Verdes

Location: Rancho Palos Verdes, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, you can see Santa Catalina Island 17 miles away. Beautiful view. The Casita, nice and cozy. Two room Casita 1100-1200 square feet. Fire place front door patio was remote operated. Same with living room fire place. Large patio with table, chairs and umbrella overlooking the Pacific Ocean great views. Two additional balconies also over looking the Pacific. Beds felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Large bathrooms. Open kitchen to living room. Service was impeccable. Lexus sedans and SUVs would drive us from registration to our Casita or from Nelson's restaurant back when requested. Golf carts were also used to transport guests around the resort. There was a Spa on property that we visited twice, massages, facial, brow wax and a hair cut at the Salon. Definitely a five star resort. Would I recommend, yes. Would I stay again, yes. For the price and the location, the Casitas at Terranea are excellent. In fact they could charge a good 25% more, although I will admit that a 25% price increase would decrease my enthusiasm to merely average.

They’re spacious, solid views, full kitchen and laundry, and for those who need more space, you can pay extra and book the 2nd (connected) or even the 2nd and 3rd connected bedrooms. The living room is definitely big enough to handle a full family or a bunch of friends. They even have reserved parking for individual casitas right by the shared entry ways.

About the only consideration is, as great as the space is, and how comfortable it is, it’s not an ultra luxury experience. It’s more than nice enough - way more than nice enough - but if you want the highest end Italian marble and the richest carpets, well, consider the price you pay - it’s not THAT level of over...

Did we feel like we were living in a Spanish villa living our best damn life? Yes, Queen! Really couldn't have had a better experience - glad we opted for the 2 bedroom to accommodate our family. Steps from the pools, the lobby, the coffee shop.

We had a full kitchen so we bought a bunch what we needed (creamer, yogurt, snacks) at Trader Joes (about 5 mins down the road) for our week trip. Best decision ever.

My husband and I are remote workers so we spent a lot of time indoors and this was just a fabulous place to work.

The room service was also phenomenal. They were always prompt, so fast, everything was always so clean.
