Oh. My. Gosh. Where do I start..... First off, if I could give it 10 stars I definitely would!! (This is gonna be a long review 😁) The location was easy to get to..there's a cluster of hotels around this one and nothing else- so very convenient- so you don't have to meander around restaurants or other small businesses and take a wrong turn. There was plenty of parking all around the building. We mostly parked on the back side of the building to get easy access to the elevator. My only complaint about parking on the back side is there isn't an access ramp so it was very difficult to roll the luggage cart in and out of the back door. The hotel itself feels updated. As a matter of fact, when I checked in the GM informed me that they were going to start switching out the door locks to the tap ones instead of the old slide ones where you would have to slide your key card. So that was well communicated. (And check out is at 12p!! What??!!) I liked that you had to have a key card to get thru the other entrances other than the front door. The service- when I checked the GM was very informative about how to get to our room (on the 2nd floor), when bfast hours were, when pool hours were, his name/ his asst GM name, and if we needed room service done that we could call. The whole staff has been great, with having to deal with maintenance coming in and changing all locks for a few days (guest checking in and out, changing key cards, chaos and stress). The staff was still professional and helpful during that process, they didn't miss a beat. Breakfast- M -F is 6am -930a, sat/sun is 7a-10a (if I remember correctly- that was told to me). We have eaten breakfast every morning that we have been here and it has NOT disappointed. Its hot breakfast and it rotates from day to day. The breakfast area has plenty of seating available. The room was roomy. We booked a 2 queen bed room and there was PLENTY of room for 2. There was a microwave and fridge in the room, that we always need when we travel. We had a view from the front side of the building. The air conditioner worked well. The water pressure from the shower and the bathroom sink I found to be exceptional. The desk was a good size for our drinks and snacks. The bathroom counter was plenty big enough. We haven't had to call for room service and we've been removing our own trash and been asking for trash bags. The bathroom- sooo the first night we had issues with the toilet not flushing properly. The plunger fixed it and worked just fine after that. My only issue with the toilet was that it sat too low. Then for the first 2 nights it took at least 5 min for the hot water to kick in in the shower, the last 2 nights it heated up just fine. The tub has a high step over so if you have hip/knee/sciatica issues I would be careful. Also this tub did not have any tub treads but I didn't encounter any slipping while taking a shower (there is a bar in thr shower). It was well stocked with everything needed for 4 nights so room service hasn't been needed. My only ask for guests staying in nice hotels like this one- just help them out and don't trash your room, that's just rude. You don't know if they are short staffed or have other issues going on behind the scenes- so do your part, be a decent human being and pick up after yourself. It will help the staff, that is there working hard, to clean your room and move on to the next room. (Told ya it was gonna be a long review 😁)

This hotel is not worth the price for a 3 Star! We checked in on Friday Afternoon and were hopeful with the kind worker who checked us in. The hotel has a stench, like a stale smell. We didn’t get to really check out the suite as we had to drop and go, we were in Toledo for an event. We arrived back pretty late, which welcomed the real deal of the room. The pictures below tell the story. 1 of our two suites was just ok, my kids asked “were we on a budget this weekend!” Kids refused to use the pool due to how dark The water was. When I checked out and expressed concern, the front desk staff explained after looking at the photos that it was not acceptable. She knew had a list of excuses and stated that the manager was not in. However, she would be calling and getting a refund for at minimum my room. As well as a discount for the other. My room was not refunded and they only gave me $25 off!! I will never book here again. The breakfast was nothing to call home about, it really is a hotel you go to in an emergency as the beds were pretty comfortable. The let out beds are bot clean and it surely didn’t look like they clean them at all!! Both suites had crumbs and food all over the beds. I would suggest better cleaning and a deep Clean of the spaces! While the front desk staff sold me a woof ticket, they were kind and seemed to care. I will be calling Monday morning to speak with someone else. The location is right off the highway, it was fine for use as we knew it was a little drive from where we needed to be. Just book with caution and I pray its clean when you go!!

I was traveling from PA to IL with 5 family members. Got 2 room, 2 queen beds each, for just 1 night. Both rooms smelled of mold! Front desk girl Jasmin was very nice and switched us to 2 king bed rooms. She deserves a raise. The new rooms still smelled, but less. All 4 rooms have poor lighting and make the room spooky when entering. Furthermore, the other reviews about the kids making non stop noise and dripping water all over the elevator and hallways like they’ve never heard of a towel. I guess locals live nearby and use this pool like it’s their own house. I know I sound like a Karen but this was really messed up, it was nonstop. The only elevator at the hotel needs repair, as each time it reaches the main floor, it bangs like a 1 second earthquake. Very embarrassed to have booked this place with my family around. Never book a 2 star hotel no matter how good they make the pictures of the rooms look. Also, the bathroom light would flicker, and it wouldn’t stop unless I got lucky and messed with the light switch While breakfast wasn’t great, for a two star hotel, it was the best part of the hotel If someone can, please read these complaints and solve the issues within 30 days then only then what I returned here otherwise I would book somewhere else next time

Check-in was uneventful. She mentioned that children were not allowed 10pm - midnight in the pool or hot tub, which was a welcomed surprise for us. Unfortunately, this would not end up being helpful. Our room appeared decent, with some minor cleanliness issues. We were excited to try the renovated pool and hot tub our first day. We saw there were a lot of kids, so we decided to wait until after 10pm. We went down at 10pm to hear music being blasted in the pool area, a crowd of people inside, and two large cases of beer left outside the entrance to the pool. There were large groups of people openly drinking inside the pool and hot tub. At this point we figured that we would just wait until tomorrow to try again. I did mention to the hotel attendant the issues that night over the phone, and she seemed somehow "surprised" when I mentioned people were drinking in the pool when it would have been incredibly obvious by just walking by. I told her I didn't care for that night, but I want to be able to use it tomorrow. The next day, we tried using the pool during the day, but it was too crowded, so figured we could try it at night again. While going to the pool at 11pm, we saw the same large group of people, again blasting music in the pool area and outside. Luckily, I wasn't on the first floor, but I feel bad for anyone who was (for that and the smell of weed). This time no beer cases, but they were carrying large paper bags into the pool area. Some people were again, drinking in the pool and hot tub.

Shortly after returning to our room again, we found a bed bug in our bed. It was just one, and I took many photos. We packed up all our stuff and went to the front desk. The attendant seemed to not believe us despite my photos and time stamps. She complained consistently that I should have somehow saved the bug for her to review, and tried telling me it probably wasn’t a bed bug despite my obvious evidence. She begrudgingly moved us to the room across the hall. This room didn’t have running hot water, had a bedroom door that didn’t work, a large stain in the middle of the room, and a remote for the TV that didn’t work. I don’t even think this room was meant to be used.

In the morning I spoke with the manager, and we were then moved back to another room on the 2nd floor. After requesting the sheets be changed because of a stain, we had the final room for our stay. At no point through all of this were we offered anything for the issues encountered by anyone. Overall, I could not recommend this hotel in really any capacity. It was inexpensive, but the downsides make it...

This is the first review I have ever written in my life. I don't think I have ever had customer service so bad ever. Context: I had a reservation for a week. At the end of the stay, I called to extend it for 3 days but the lady over the phone says I can have it for 2 more nights( OK cool i'll figure out the last night later). Then, on my second day I go to the front desk and ask for one more night. The lady at the front desk ( a different lady than on the phone) makes me sign paper and says I am good to go. Next day I get a call from the first lady again and she is yelling at me. "You did not listen to me". She is not telling me this in a nice tone, she is screaming at me over the phone in the most rude way possible telling me that it is my fault. Her excuse was "the front desk girl is new and does not know what she is talking about". How is this my fault? Then she says she will figure it out and call me in 10 minutes. 30 minutes pass and I call them back because i haven't received a call and apologize for getting angry (I apologize first even though it was not my mistake). Then she says she can move me to a new room and i ask for a discount. I have to leave work for an hour to pack my stuff and drive both ways only to find their discount was 20 dollars. I lost more money leaving work. I cancelled my room.(i asked for one again later but they said they were full which is whatever I understand that) After this I called 3 separate times and asked to speak with the manager and I get told that the manager will be back Friday at 7:00am. I call dot at 7 and i got told that the manager is not here and will get back on Monday. It is a shame for such a good hotel to have such terrible service. I am the most disappointed I have been in a hotel in years. I strongly advise against this hotel, there is a Tru by Hilton 30 seconds from there, it is worth to spend an extra 15 dollars...
