Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s Boating Center — Local services in Rossford

Purchased a used boat in March that was "ready for the water to enjoy the season fishing". I went to pick up the boat and was told that they found 2 carburetors with cracked bowls that needed repaired and that the boat would need to be brought back and that they would order the parts and call to schedule the repair and it would only take two or three days. A month later I had to call to see if they ever received the parts, in which they did and never called. The boat was dropped off and after several calls, two weeks later, it was done. I took the boat out for the first time and it had a rough idle under load and no top end!!! It is currently at a shop to try to figure out what is a wrong with my "ready for the water, fish all season" made 3 payments already boat!!!! Very, very unorganized, poor customer service. Very disappointed in the service shop at Bass Pro. We had a boat that needed repair work done and asked if it could be completed in two weeks so we could take the boat on vacation with us. The service department allowed us to drop our boat off and leave it telling us it would be done by Tuesday of the next week. On Tuesday they told us the would not be able to fix it in time to take on our vacation. Kept our boat for a week without working on it and then said there was nothing they could do. Do not trust them to do the work in a timely fashion even if you let them know upfront that you have a deadline. We lost two weeks of time to work on the boat and were not able to take it...

I felt like I was right at home when I walk in. A lady name Kerry mention a great offer that everybody should be going for once you walk in. Not only that some great guy name Kurt started talking to me about what I do for a living. I mention to him that I just came from Maine from hiking big mountains to just trying to hit any trail and Kurt gave me some great information on other places that I have to visit while on the road.
