This review is my experience, accurate and not intended to needlessly malign the property. Seek lodging elsewhere, despite the distance.
This was probably the worst stay at a hotel, which could have been saved had any and proper action been taken by the hotelier and staff.
When we first walked in, the room had an acrid, near burning stench of mildew that was ripe in the summer heat. I turned on the air in hopes of that being able to alleviate the air of some of the foul smell and eye burning toxicity. I rang down to the front desk and no one answered.
Having had checked in at near midnight and defeated by exhaustion, after sitting on the bed for a few minutes I fell asleep, possibly due to the dangerous air. I was awoken at 4am half on the bed, needing my inhaler and by that time, I surrendered myself to the nauseous gasses I had already subjected myself to and crawled under the sheets.
Blinking my eyes open in the morning, I assumed there was a shadow on what was supposed to be clean white sheets. After coating my head and finally reaching for my glasses, the shadow disappeared and was replaced by a thick and long dark streak across the top of the sheet where i had laid my head for my hazy rest.
Mildew? Grease? Dirt? Something else? Who knows? I didn't care to find out. We packed our bags and vacated the room after taking a picture for the staff.
I approached the deal with both matters and was immediately informed that Betty was not the manager and that she could not do anything to help me. Despite the abruptness of her statement, i understood and asked for the manager. Patel, the "new" manager, (doubtful that they were a new manager) was not on the property and as he was "new" did not have a card for me to reach out to later. Very alfred that i text get the photo and once she received it she showed her disgust of the photo as well. She assured me she would send the photo to her manager and all that he call me.
Within an hour, I received a message from Betty, which was intended for Patel. It read, "This was bed sheet in 116 guest have checked out .he was not very nice about it".
In actuality, I was nice to her, especially as a front desk employee her ability to mitigate the situation was minimal. What i was upset about was the condition that the hotel room was in; but i did not take that out on her.
Five days have passed and neither Betty, nor Patel have reached out to me.
Unless something is done about this i will have to share my opinions on other platforms. Although there are limited options in Rushville, patrons should not be subjected to the horrid conditions that this hotel...

Read moreMy husband and I stayed in a suite room for one night. We arrived at the hotel around 5:30pm and our room was not ready. We were told that the person staying in the room the night before had placed a do not disturb sign on the door and did not say when he left and when the staff was able to get a hold of him on the phone to find out that he was out of the room they had already started cleaning rooms at the other end of the hotel and did not immediately start cleaning our room even though it was reserved for the night. The man that started checking us in said he would have the room ready in 15-20 minutes. About 25 minutes later our room was available. We only knew this because we were watching the cleaning employees leave when they were done, the hotel staff called us about 30 minutes after the cleaners left to tell us the room was now ready.
When we got into our room it appeared to be very clean however there were several areas throughout the room that looked very "patched" up. There were gaps in the corners/edges along the tub and wall cut out. The carpet was falling apart at the edges. The bed was very springy and was not very comfortable.
My husband went to use the jetted tub and when he turned on the jets all kinds of junk came flying out into the tub. There was lint and what appeared to be wrappers and bra clasps. It was disgusting.
We slept that evening in the bed that felt like we were sleeping in a giant bowl. We kept rolling to the center of the bed due to the lack of even support. It was very...
