Mezcal Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Rushville

This Mexican bistro is a bit of a treat! The street tacos are a must try, the aroma of the steak being freshly fried makes it hard to walk away 🙂 The juan and lion tacos are divine, the salsa is made in-house and has a great kick but you can't stop eating it! The chicken taco salad was so ridiculously large that you had to cut it up with a knife and fork 😂 Olivia the waitress was as sweet as tequila and took care of a party of 10. You have to ask for a refill on your coke, and you don't get free fries with salsa? The restrooms take three trips around the block to find, and the parking lot is not striped for stunt drivers... I'll put up with these minor flaws for the sake of the freshly cooked steaks! After all, if you can get this level of food for $15 per person, you don't need a bicycle. ps: The owner should consider widening the foyer a little bit... I'm really afraid of the sauce dripping on the passers-by when I'm walking sideways...

We tried to go to Fish Moon but they wouldn’t let us in because we had our 9 month old with us. So we went here and were pleasantly surprised! We had a great experience! We got the supreme nachos and had to order some extra chips which was definitely worth it. We got some burgers, a kids burrito, and some adult beverages. While visiting relatives in Rushville lN, our relatives took us to this delightful mexican fare restaurant. What a treat! The menu was bursting with entrees including about 9 differently prepared steaks! I got a large burrito and it was magnificent. There was enough left over for lunch.the following day. The wait staff was eager to please, quick and attentive. Everything we tried as a group was great. The margaritas were the best we've had in a very long time.
