Room assigned #203 - We choose this location because we had stayed here 2 times previously and were quite pleased with this place! After a long drive, we arrived tired and ready to stretch out and sleep. Upon checking in, we were assign a room on the 2nd floor. The 2 times we had been here we had a room on the 1st floor. We always want a non-smoking room, and when we entered we were hit with 70s looking carpet and a odd smell that maybe could be a slight smell of smoke, more like when a match is lit and then blown out. We had some Frebreeze with us, so we sprayed it around the room - helped a little... the carpet was riddled with stains [so much so we wore shoes to walk around], some of the wallpaper peeling off the wall by the ceiling, hole in  one of the bedskirt, top electrical outlet by bed, closest to window, has no power to it, and the window was cracked. The beds themselves seem okay enough to go ahead and sleep in. The bathroom was clean! The furniture is outdated [couch sagged towards the middle] and we don't want to sit on it, and there were a couple stains ceiling.  Maybe this place only updated the 1st floor? Again, we really did enjoy this place the last 2 times we stayed.

Checked in late at night (2245). The lady at the counter was super helpful & kind. Gave me an awesome rundown on the building (pool times, entrances, breakfast, ect) & actually asked if there was anything I needed to get settled in. The room was clean, layed out nicely, & had a great ac. The halls were a little warm, might be worse in the hotter months.

Pretty nice affordable, & clean .The front desk clerk HALEY, was very friendly & helpful.she accommodated me on anything I needed. There was parking for my semi- tractor trailer on the premises, and I was given a room so that I can see it from my window. I'll definitely visit again.

Wyndham had a promition in September 2019 where they would provide a $100 rewards credit on your Wyndham Rewards account it you had two stays. I completed the conditions of the program, but when i emailed wyndhamcc@wyndham.com to ask for my reward, i was told that there was no active promotion matching my desription. Furthermore, the property disavowed the promotion, also (Super 8 by Wyndham Salina I-70). I took a picture of the promotional literature in my room to ensure i met the conditions of the promotion, since there was no effective date on the table topper, and the hand written note from the property thanking me for my stays and urging me to contact Wyndham for my reward.

I have probably spent a couple hours with customer service agents, have been directed to call at least five different Wyndham phone numbers and spoke to six different agents. Additionally, i have exchanged several emails with wyndhamcc@wyndham.com. unfortunately, they are little help. i have asked for a phone call from a supervisor on two separate occassions, only to be ignored for a week. when i follow up on the email after 6 days (Wyndham claims a 1-3 day turnaround on emails...unless they dont feel like it), i am give a curt message to call a couple other phone numbers, because evidently Wyndham doesnt know who is responsible for helping me either. i called the numbers and the agents had no idea what i was talking about. i responded to customer care again with the poor results and again asked for a call from a supervisor, it has been another 6 days and it is very apparent that Wyndham could care less about my concern or my business.

a word to the wise, wyndham only cares when there is nothing to resolve, be prepare to fight for what you were promised, and do not expect anyone at wyndham to value you as a customer or champion your cause...even if you...

One shouldn't have to sacrifice basic cleaning or proper sheets and a blanket to keep you warm but that's what you have to do if you choose to stay here. I would not voluntarily stay here again. Proof is in the photos. We had to change rooms because the 1st one the heater STUNK to high heavens when turned on and made the room smell like burning, we couldn't stomach the smell or being in the room. 2nd room had 1) Tar? Grease? On the outside room number (Why?) 2) Large, multiple grease/oil stains all over the curtains you can't tell me nobody has seen who has walked into that room, they are NOT fresh, but everyone and the maid I guess just pretend it's not there? (WHY?) 3) Stains all over the bench I'm supposed to put my bags/clothes on (um, no) 4) No coffee pot although it was promised in the list of things included in the room 5) A broken light switch 6) Thread bare sheets you could literally see through. 7) No proper comforter/warm blanket for winter temperatures, just a scratchy, old, thin "cover" bc you can't call that a blanket. We were cold. The heater didn't turn on when set to 66 and wouldn't turn off set to 67, it was just all around frustrating. Going down to breakfast was a disappointment, too, no eggs even! No protein options if you didn't want or eat sausage gravy, which I don't. Like I said, all of these things added up are completely unacceptable for any price, it's basic stuff that should be provided but they're LAZY and more concerned about cutting corners and taking your money than offering even the basics. It's not right and it's false advertising. You have...

So we went to stay here when my fiancé came to visit and my son came to swim with her kids and because my son came to visit her kids for a little bit and swam with us they said they are not giving our $100 deposit back. Not to mention the heater didn’t work in the room and the room smelled like nasty feet when we walked in the room when we checked in. Also they knocked on the door at 9 am to ask if we were gunna check out, when checkout was supposed to be at 11. Then when she called about our deposit refund they beat around the bush with my fiancé and then when I called they told me they didn’t care what corporate says or we say they don’t have to give the deposit back. Not to mention we were super polite and we striped the beds for them and sorted all the laundry for the housekeepers and picked up alllll of our trash and took out our own trash. Plus from the time we checked in until the time we left we were only in the room to sleep and at the pool to swim. The rest of the time we were gone visiting family around town. Not to mention some keyed my motorcycle at the hotel while we were sleeping the first night! Oh and did I mention the whole downstairs hallway smell like marijana? This hotel is garbage I don’t recommend stay here. Oh and my fiancé has a nerve disease that interferes with her ability to walk and when we booked the room we booked a first floor room so she didn’t fall and they still put us in a nasty ass room on the second floor. And the pool was ice cold the adults refused to get in because it was so cold. And it had nasty shit floating on top of the...
