Mancini's Sleepworld Salinas — Hotel in Salinas

I had such a first visit great experience at Mancini’s Sleepworld in Salinas today! The store looked clean, beautiful and inviting, with a wide array of comfortable mattresses on display. I went in to purchase two pillows and was very fortunate to work with Maria Ruiz who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the process so easy. She asked good questions and also explained what probably happened to my existing pillow which was over 7 years old. I ended up choosing two firm Tempur-Pedic pillows, and they are absolutely wonderful. After struggling with my old pillow that kept collapsing in the middle, I went home, tried my new Tempur-Pedic pillow, and enjoyed the best nap I’ve had in ages! My neck and head felt evenly supported and very comfortable.

Maria also shared the inspiring story of the company’s founder and famiy when I asked. I learned how over more than 55 years, Mancini’s Sleepworld has grown throughout much of Northern and Central California. It made me appreciate even more the care and quality they put into their business. Next time we need a mattress, I’ll feel completely confident buying it from one of their stores—and I’ll definitely explore their selection of sheets and other bedding, too. This was our first time visiting a Mancini’s Sleepworld store. We were looking to replace our bed and wanted something that would coordinate with our existing bedroom furniture. We were considering purchasing the floor model in the interest of saving on shipping time, but decided against it upon examination and determining it was a little too “roughed up” up in our opinion.

I reached out to Rod, the store manager at Mancini’s Salinas by phone, and he was so nice and accommodating! He offered to place an order for a new bed and price matched the sale price on the Mancini’s website. He went above and beyond, following up with a phone call to process my order over the phone.

Came in with my mind set on one of those online mattresses but wanted to try it in person. Was sadly disappointed, not what I expected. Had never been in a mattress store before, had a lot of questions, and ended up trying a lot of different beds. Decided I liked the feel of a hybrid mattress i.e. memory foam/coils.
