Mission Inn — Hotel in San Antonio

First off, if you're even considering this place, that means you have a very limited budget. You prioritizing price over luxury. Once you've finally grasped that idea, this hotel will not disappoint you.

The rate we got was very good, especially since we booked only a couple of days before our trip. Yes it's a bit far from downtown, but the drive was pleasant. Very little traffic. The check in process went as smooth as it could be. The lady at the counter was nice and explained everything to us. The lighting in the parking lot was bright. Good for safety.

The room was relatively clean, but the bathroom could use some updating. But again, for the price, it is perfect. The bathroom we had was huge. The one gripe I had was the shower head wasn't flushed/cleaned from all of the mineral deposits, so at the first shower the water trickled out. After clearing the deposits from it (Google how to maintain 'self cleaning nipples'), it was perfect.

I have traveled to over 25 hotels in Texas From Cheap to Expensive (over $120) and this little gem of a hotel was the cleanest of them all. The manager actually checks each room after cleaning and she provides excellent customer service. You will get no excuses from her, you will get action. I would have given 5 stars but water pressure is a little low and there is no pool. Being actually to sleep all night and not wake up wit bug bites, after 1 night I finally was able to relax. The TV is old style, but when I travel for length I bring my own anyway. High Speed internet worked flawlessly. Even the parking lot is kept in very high standards. No breakfast included, but coffee is. I moved the large dresser so my TV would be in front of me and there was not a speck of dirt, it was like they vacuumed behind it just for me. A/C worked flawlessly in 100 degree heat. If every hotel had this manager as their manager, it would be great to travel again instead of a nightmare. I could go on and on, but I think I...

horrible i parked right in the front by the camera and office and supposedly no one saw my car get hit!! they don't care for your safety or property she told me cameras are there for show and they don't even work not a safe place to rest your head!! she was very rude abt it saying her car is out side and if perfectly fine but don't care for mine getting hit on her property. she just watch while we tried to fix it wouldn't give me her name or number just the name of the mission in and when i asked if any one was in a hurry to check out or any new check in she told me to look in the key box for my self bc she don't know and she was just asleep in the office worst place to get a hotel and we where there only for a few hrs before it happened she was supper rude no shoes dressed unprofessionally i will be contacting (DSHS) become this...
