SA Mattresses and Furniture for Less — Local services in San Antonio

I have a major complaint. As of 28October2019, I purchased a couch (with floating chaise) from this store. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted at the door by some nice guy who shook my hand. He didn't hover when we looked around, but he sure as hell asked good questions and was helpful in all of our questions. I made jokes, he laughed. He made jokes, we laughed....and in the end, I made my choice as to what I wanted, paid for it, gave my info, and then went to wait for my delivery.

I get a phone call, with the delivery guys saying they'll get there within 45 minutes. I wait...I wait...and sure enough, they showed up when they said they would! Not only that, but they were professional, and they got the couch up into my 2nd floor apartment without any hassle?! I mean, jfc, no complaints from them, they just set it up, they put it where I asked, and they were cool as hell. I've NEVER had delivery guys be nearly as competent, quick, or courteous as these dudes.

What kind of business do you guys run here?! Helpful, professional people who have great prices, great service, and great personality???

Don't you realize what you've just done?!?!?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SHOP AT OTHER PLACES NOW????!?!!!??!!!

If you people out there want a good deal, just go to these guys. If you want to find quality stuff and a decent price, just...just go there. But expect your future shopping experiences to be ruined if you go anywhere else, because nobody else seems to have their business together like these guys do. You will always compare every buy from anything to how great these guys were and expect nothing less than the excellence...

Horrible place to buy furniture. Nothing but liars and will do anything to steal your money. Quality of furniture is horrible and the customer service in store is the worst I ever seen so far. That girl that sits behind the desk on her phone instead of actually being helpful does nothing but lie and not even mention the rules in the contract. My mom was so happy that she was only $200 away from paying fully her sofas. She called and let them know ahead of time she was not able to make it because she had COVID-19 and they told her that was fine she could pay later never did they let her know about the late payment policy or how many days she still had to pay in full. Her bill went from only $200 to over $800. When she asked to see the contract that girl told her they didn't have one and that there was nothing they could do. She refused to help my mother since she's too busy on her phone. Didn't have a manager to even talk to she was no help at all. How can you charge so much money and not have a contract or cannot explain how a payment went from $200 to $800? Stay away from this trash of a place nothing but liars and stealers. This place should be reported for fraud. If you want good furniture and not have your money stolen go somewhere else. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. If you want to better this place start by firing this useless girl yall have as a front...

I had previously purchased furniture through this company, and when I needed a new desk, I thought to go back through them again. That was where I messed up. They are apparently only could for the first time purchase. I ordered my desk and was told I would be called within a week to arrange for delivery. The call never came. In the meantime, Acceptance Now took the first payment out of my bank, even though I did not have the desk. After two weeks, I called them and was informed the desk had been there for awhile and when would I like delivery. I arranged it for the following Saturday as that was my only availability. They finally brought the desk and it was defective. I called and cancelled the order and requested a refund which I was assured I would have in a week. Two weeks later, I still had no money. I called and demanded my money back, and was told I had to go through Acceptance Now. I called 5 different numbers, each one telling me there was nothing I could do. Then I called back, angry, and they said they would get on it, but so I didn't make them mad they hung up on me. Do not go through this company unless you want them to make you angry and then hang up on you so you don't get them angry. I will never shop...
