I recently stayed at the Quality Inn and had a very pleasant experience overall. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff greeted me warmly and made the check-in process quick and smooth. They were friendly, professional, and always available to answer questions or provide recommendations about the local area. The room was spacious, clean, and well-kept. The bed was very comfortable with fresh linens, and I appreciated the little details like extra pillows, a coffee maker, and reliable Wi-Fi. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with basic toiletries, which made my stay more convenient. Housekeeping did a wonderful job maintaining everything during my visit. The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast, which had a good variety of options including hot items, cereals, fruit, and fresh coffee. It was a great way to start the day without having to go out early in the morning. I also liked the quiet atmosphere throughout the hotel, which made it easy to relax after a long day of travel.

Neighborhood doesn’t look quite safe. The room is a noisy one with shattered glass. One of the previous geniuses left some food in the fridge and the cleanup crew did not pick that up. Amenities are almost none to say the least. The nightshift front desk was quite rude and impatient with heavy accents. I also found out the bed sheets and pillows are all had stains. I had to wear my outfit all night. The breakfast is another disaster with limited choice. The whole hotel have a strange smell.

Good safe location. Rooms are modern and clean close to the airport, about an hour from downtown SF. Friendly staff. Probably one of the better places to stay in the Bay area.

This hotel is next to a busy street and had construction going on while we were there. This made it more challenging to enter and exit the hotel, but I feel the people and the nightly rate more than made up for it. ||This hotel is not your upper scale most modern Marriott accommodations by any means, but it fit my basic needs very well with a few above average expectations. Our room was clean and tidy. There wasn't much bathroom sink space in our King bed room, but it was fine for our short stay and just 2 of us. ||It was nice to have breakfast included. It may not have the biggest selection of items but it was sufficient for our needs and one thing that they did well was the food was always warm and cooked very well. Not overcooked, or undercooked, or dry. They were very attentive with keeping it stocked and warm. The hash brown potatoes were really good. ||One of the pleasant surprises of our stay was the staff. I cant say enough good things about the general manager Celestina Munoz and the weekend night desk lady Jackie. They both were very pleasant, kind, and went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. We needed extra pillows and Celestina immediately stopped what she was doing to go get us the pillows and some extra wash clothes. We didn't have to wait for someone to deliver them to our room and hoped they showed up. We arrived at breakfast one day close to when it was ending and she wanted to make sure there was enough for us to eat breakfast. ||Jackie was extremely nice and was very talented at the "gift of gab". LOL She enjoys talking to guests and getting to know them and offering whatever assistance she can offer. She took the time to ask what we did that day and if we had a good time and even offered us snacks when we came back to the hotel in the evening from a long tiring day. She's the type of person who always has a smile on her face and always happy and a kind heart willing to help others. ||Its easy to tell Celestina and Jackie both enjoy their work and enjoy people and life. They went above and beyond the call of duty compared to most hotel employees. They treated us like friends, not just guests in a hotel. In just a few short days it seemed like we became good friends. ||Sometimes there's more to a hotel stay than just the room and the bed your sleeping in and they made our stay at the San Jose Quality Inn a very pleasant enjoyable stay. It made some of the small less pleasant things meaningless. Before we checked out, i gave each of them small gifts of gratitude to let them know we appreciated them and everything they did for us during our stay. If we ever get to this area again, we will be sure and look them up. ||Thanks Celestina and Jackie for a pleasant stay. Keep up...

I am not sure how this place got soo many good reviews. Stayed here for one night, rooms were wayyy smaller than expected/in pictures (king bed room). Almost a non existent vanity. Rooms were clean but had a bad odor. The odor was extremely bad in the bathroom. I had to buy air fresheners to spend the night. Honestly there are much nicer hotels around in this price range ($119 with tax)

Check in was one of the worst i have ever had in my life. Booked through Chase Ultimate rewards. I called to leave a note for late check in and the lady after some trouble found my reservation. However later at the front desk the lady could not find my reservation even after showing chase booking / email confirmation etc. For some reason it was under my guests name even though i booked it under my name with my card. The staff almost refused to check me in (understandably to an extent) but also argued that there is no note left from anyone.

What really ruined my experience was the lady straight up lecturing me that i should have called front desk (which I did) always. She said i called central reservation and thats not right (i just called the number on this goggle listing how am i supposed to get your personal number). She kept almost ridiculing me about reserving in another name and using a “3rd party” and that i should always book through them. In this 20 minute altercation I probably talked for 1.5 minutes and she talked 18.5 minutes just telling me how everything is my fault. Just stop talking and either check me in or refuse me, no need to ridicule me.

The person did eventually check me in. At that point (8:30 pm) I was too tired to even bother to express my dissatisfaction and just went on by my night coming to a pretty disappointing room.

Would not...
