Ascend Muay Thai and Fitness — Local services in Milpitas

Before officially joining Ascend, my husband and I were looking around for a Muay Thai gym for our elementary-aged girls to join. We ended up joining as an entire family and I am so glad we did! Little did we know before joining, the impact Ascend would have in all of our lives in the best possible way. First, what attracted us to join was the environment and how great the Coaches are in the children's class. They are patient, engaging, and make class fun for all the kids. My girls shared that they really enjoy their classes because it's fun and the Coaches motivate them to want to do their best.

I take the adult's classes and I love it so much! Why? Because the community at Ascend is awesome, the training is engaging, fun, and challenging, and the Coaches really craft a great training session every single class. You can tell by the attention of detail that go into each class and their ability to help everyone across all levels. In addition to all of this, every one at Ascend, the Coaches and members are so kind and respectful to each other. The Coaches themselves, embody a growth mindset, they're so caring, and really motivate and inspire you to be the best version of yourself inside class, but also in our own personal daily lives. You can definitely feel and see that through the community that they've built at Ascend. I'm so happy my family...

Chris and Jackie are my old teammates at @WorldTeamUSA of San Francisco! World Team USA is an elite MMA Academy. Under Kru Sam P. their lineage runs deep in traditional Muay Thai from Thailand! They both have the Muay Thai march and Ram Muay camp ring blessings! And also Muay Boran! I believe that they are Green Satch or higher! Green satch is a competitor ranking. I’ve watch them both compete since 2006-2007! Chris is an extreme striker! Trust me I’ve seen him strike! They actually meet at the academy and prospered together and grew a beautiful family! Chris also has heritage in other martial arts and Lion Dancing! Jackie is a wonderful young lady, that I was fearful of sparring! Lol. 2023 Update: After years of my kids attending, I finally joined and I am so glad I did. I'm addicted to the lessons and workouts! I can see why my kids enjoy it as much as they do. Also, you can't beat the price. Especially family rates. I'm taking advantage of it and already have my summer body ready. My cardiologist also noticed and improvement in my health. Thank you coach Jackie and Chris!

2022 Update: Still here and the new location is a huge upgrade! Excellent coaching and it's evident by their tournament success.
