Delano Manongs Park — Attraction in Milpitas

The park is finally open after years of delays. The playground for kids is decent and what you will find lacking are high slides and the high swings which are common in most parks.

The good: Picnic area is really good for events Two separate kids play structures Big soccer field

The bad: No tennis courts Too much unpaved dirt areas that make the whole air get filled with dirt Dog park is small with dirt ground, it’s meant for small dogs but practically useless for smalls dogs who generally are furry Dog park is less useful for big dogs since area is small The soccer field sprinkler system seems to be broken. Either grass is dead or overwatered and muddy in some areas. Dogs not playing in dog park

What could make it better: Reduce the uncovered dirt area with vegetation or grass or turf Fix...

Great park! It opened about a month ago, it has 3 playground areas, 2 of them are gated for kids not to run away and the other one looks like it belongs to the school but is accessible to the public for now. The 2 gated playgrounds are SO fun!! They each also have an interactive area and are wheelchair accessible. Not a lot of shade but fun nevertheless. Clean restrooms nearby and a lot of water fountains and bottle fillers around. The bigger playground is great for all ages, and the other 2 shown in the videos look best for kindergartners and...

This is for the dog park only. I saw a small dog side,but no large dog side.Not really a problem since my dogs are small. I like that the area is well kept and clean. There is a poop bag dispenser and water available. The surface looks like the infield of a baseball diamond. Perfect solution,it absorbs the odor and doesn't get muddy. It is kinda small and there's no shade. But otherwise a great neighborhood dog park. As for the rest of the park. I would give it 5 stars. New looking play area with lots of families playing...
