DO NOT GO THERE! DO.NOT.GO.THERE
What an absolute terrible place. We booked for 2 nights after we missed our plane due to unrelated circumstances. We looked online on Hotwire to find a place that was close to the airport for the next 2 days. This place came up, $63/night instead of the regular $130/night. Sweet we thought! The exterior appearance looked great, we had a good vibe.
Boy, were we wrong. First of all, they put us onto a smoking floor without us knowing, as it was their last 2-double beds available (we have our 9 y/o son with us). That floor REEKED of pot and feebreze, I mean, that stanched was horrible. But hey, as long as the room is clean right? Wrong! The room was so filthy that we stayed less than 40 minutes, with our shoes on, without even unloading our luggage from the car. That room was the worst room I’ve ever seen in my life, and I’m dead serious on that statement. The entryway has a vinyl flooring that was extremely sticky, like juice had been spilled all over and left there to dry. The bathroom had crusty accumulation on all stainless, and the shower walls were dirty with grim. You could tell that they wash and machine-dry their vinyl shower curtain because that poor thing had partially melted together and was sadly put back to use. The toilet seat has a permanent cigaret burn on it. The microwave is smelly and absolutely horrendous, the fridge handle is greasy and there’s humidity stains EVERWHERE in the room. It was so bad that I lifted the 2 mattresses to inspect for bed bugs before we where to haul our stuff inside. No bugs, great! But as I lifted those mattresses, there was still food, plastics and stuff underneath the beds!!! The cleaner didn’t even bother to VACCUM under the beds! And the skirt around said beds hasn’t been wash in god knows when. There were numerous dried out white spots on the bed skirts. I’ll leave you to your imagination...
But HOLD ON FRIEND, it doesn’t stop there! We go back downstairs, and the staff at the front desk says they will shut down the main desk and go clean it properly. They also will not charge us anything for the inconvenience. I have to command their effort to actually make it right after the nasty job done by their cleaner. So we say, why sure! If they can make the place better, why not? And so we waited outside for more than 2 hours, while the staff cleaned the room. At 7:30pm, we finally were able to go have a look. It’s now passable, as they wiped down the plane surfaces and the bathroom is now better. It smells like bleach, and believe me, that smell warmed my heart! Floor still sticky (including the stained carpet... I didn’t know carpet could be sticky...) they didn’t change the bed skirts full of obvious Er...hem... DNA? But at least I felt like the beds and bathroom were passable. So we decided to stay! After all, they made an effort to clean it, and not charged us for it. I would definitely post photos if I could, but believe when I say, I shudder when my son walks barefoot in this place. To get said reimbursement, we apparently need to contact the manager on Monday, since he’s the only one apparently able to do that. I expect things will not be easy. The photos below were taken after the staff cleaned said room for more than 2 hours!
Lastly, we are still here right now. We don’t have any more toilet papers, since said cleaner was kind enough to leave us with a roll and a half of double ply. We called the front office, but because “it’s close”, we CANNOT OBTAIN TOILET PAPER! We would have to leave the place, and drive god knows where until we find the precious product. DO NOT GO THERE. DO NOT GO THERE. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DRIVE A LITTLE FARTHER OR GO TO BEST WESTERN AND GET FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO THE AIRPORT AND BREAKFAST AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME BECAUSE YOU WILL WASTE BOTH IF YOU GO HERE. You couldn't pay me to stay here. It's the most disgusting ran down hotel I've ever been to in my life. I immediately started freaking out when I read the reviews and there was 126 reviews about roaches, but it was too late, my mom had already booked it. Immediately when we walked in it had a foul smell and you can tell they are trying to mask it with air freshener. The lady who checked us in seemed nice at first but wasted a lot of time by writing the wrong room number down and had us keep going downstairs thinking the key card wasn't working. My son had to use the restroom when we first arrived and I asked her while my mom was checking in if there was a bathroom he could use and she said that we had to use the one in our room. We eventually figured out the right room and used the restroom and then left to go to go eat. I was not happy with our choice of hotel and I immediately wanted to leave but the people I was with said it was only for one night and they were willing to storm it out. We were in the room less then 10 minutes and we left and that's when we got the call that my stepdad was being rushed to the hospital so we went back to the hotel to get a refund and they said they will check the room and if it's not been used we will get a refund. We even let her know what was happening and why we had to cancel the room and not too long after we left they called and said that we used the bathroom and dried our hands on a towel that we couldn't get a refund. Plain and simple this place is deplorable and the workers are shady and will take your money even when you are dealing with a family emergency that was out of my control.the hallways are disgusting, the elevator is disgusting, everything in that building is disgusting and I was afraid to touch anything because it looked like it's been years since it's been cleaned. There was not one inch on the walls that wasn't covered in something. My son and brother have allergies and they had at least 3 dogs in there that I seen so they were sneezing and coughing back to back. The floors were so disgusting in the hallways. I was pissed when they called back and denied my mom her money and I was at an establishment in town at the time and a lady overheard me and she told me all about that place and how even if we missed out on our money that we were lucky we didn't have to be there at night when the roaches come out to play. She also said how shady they are and that they are well known for ripping people off any way they can. They should be closed down and condemned and shame on them for taking people's hard earned money knowing damn well they wouldn't want to...
Read moreWe decided to come here because it was one of the cheaper options when it came to a weekly rate hotel. The rooms are not very clean or well maintained. Housekeeping is a joke as they do literally nothing that resembles actual thoughrough cleaning. So beware of that. It's a pretty low brow spot. Meaning you won't find the "creme de la creme" of society here. This place more resembles a "flop house". There are people who hang out around the back of the building who obviously have no jobs or any responsibility what so ever as they just stand around drinking and smoking weed all day and night, literally... I kid you not! Most look like drug addicts and lowlifes who just got out of prison. Hard to believe that management would allow this to happen. During our stay this was a regular occurrence. But then again some, not all of the staff are a tad bit ghetto themselves so really can't be too surprised really. With that being said, safety was a concern at first when we arrived as the property had these people just loitering about the premises day and nite. But we personally never experienced an issue. Just never seen a hotel that resembled a ghetto project setting. The walls and ceilings are paper thin. If you have someone above you, trust you will hear every footstep and thump. The rooms are not well maintained at all as you will immediately notice stained walls, damaged furniture and appliances upon entering the room. One thing we did like is there are plenty of shops and stores up & down the street from the hotel. And let me not forget the roaches.. ahhh yes the roaches, they also are included in the price apparently. If you do stay here be sure to bring bug spray as roaches will definitely pay you a visit via your room's sink and toilet drains. We had to keep the kitchen, tub and bathroom drains closed to stop the invasion, which seemed to work for the most part. In closing, this place is ratchet, for a few dollars more I would suggest to go to the Extended Stay America instead. Especially if you are staying for longer than a month. You've...
