Baggs Produce — Local services in Sanford

The past two times I have gone to bags, it smelled like cigarette smoke everywhere and I saw somebody smoking right by all the produce. I don’t think that’s right because people have to eat that, and for us non-smokers, it’s disgusting. I don’t think smoking should be allowed in or near food that people have to eat. I said something to somebody that worked there today and she looked at me like I was crazy. Maybe I am but I’d rather not have cigarette smoke touching food that I have to eat. I won’t be going back again. It’s my understanding that the people that work there as well as customers feel it’s OK to smoke cigarettes right where all the food is. Great local small produce shop. Friendly helpful staff. Stocks top quality in season produce sourced from local sources (when possible). Brings in the best strawberries from Plant City, Georgia (& S. First time shopping here. They have a good selection of fruits and vegetables. They also have live bait and a good assortment of other fishing gear. We didn't get to try their boiled peanuts on this trip. They also have roasted peanuts. The lady working was nice and informative....
