Gulf Place Caribbean — Hotel in Santa Rosa Beach

We initially rented a home that sustained damage in a storm two days before we were to arrive. We believed that we would not have a vacation. Dune Allen Realty stepped in and found this place so we could have our family vacation with our adult children and grandchildren. We were a little concerned as this was much smaller than the house we had initially rented, but we were very pleasantly surprised. There were eight of us, 6 adults and 2 children and we were comfortable. The townhouse is lovely, the kitchen is amazingly well stocked, the beds very comfortable, and the location quiet. The pool was heated and never crowded. We had the pool to ourselves twice. There were two other pools on the property, but we were happy with the one closest to us. The wooded area behind the townhouse was very nice for playing with our grandchildren. There was a lovely screened patio that we could sit in the morning and have coffee, listening to the birds sing. The location was nice for walks to get ice cream, a bite to eat, do some shopping, and take a walk in the "woods" (paved trail). We were close Topsail State Park and the outlet mall was 10 minutes away. The kitchen was amazingly equipped with more than enough dishes, serving plates, pots, pans, baking pans, storage containers, and appliances. We cooked more than we planned, because we were able to enjoying cooking together as a family. The only reasons we did not give it an excellent was because we really needed more bath towels, there were no beach towels (we knew and brought our own), and ended up buying a grill as there was not...

They sent my wife an email on the day of arrival they they just ordered a part for the dryer bc it wasn’t working, the door the the laundry was just left off the Mount. And they knew we were traveling with littles. SAFETY HAZARD!! so we were not able to do any laundry or drying of wet clothes while here. The iron didn’t work, some of the power outlets are worn out and won’t retain the plug, bed sheets don’t fit the bed, they curl up and you’re sleeping on the mattress by the time morning comes, couch is worn out, hope u got good knees, coffee table in the living area sways like a boat bc the legs are so loose, so does the table adjacent to the chair, dining table does the same. We came here off of a recommendation, utterly disappointed. You can hear every step someone takes upstairs. It is across from the beach, but you do have to tackle about 30 stairs to get down to the beach. No beach views from your room unless you stay in specific units….if you’re lucky. At least the people around are nice. No skimmer net at the pool to get bugs and tree debris out. Just gotta...

We absolutely love Gulf Place !!!!!!! We found 30 A about 11 years ago. We were married in October of 2014 and it's where we go every year for our anniversary. It's such a simple but awesome place !!!! I don't like PCB or Destin. Too crowded and to congested. 30 A is PERFECT !!!!!!! The one thing that is really great also is that there is a variety of choices to choose from on 30 A. From Rosemary Beach (High end $$$) to Dune Allen (For simple folks like myself :) ) I have yet to find any place that beats it and Gulf Place has it all right there for you to...
