We were put in a handicap room. At first it didn't seem like a big deal, but then you realize that there are many differences. The tub/shower has 4 hand rails and a fold down chair. This along with the low sides of the tub mean baths are not an option and to take a shower you have to be very careful not to bump into one of the many hand rails. There are no drawers in the bathroom, not a one, so ALL of your makeup and toiletries go on top of the vanity, the makeup mirror is mounted very low, useless, unless seated in a wheelchair. The kitchen is set up the same way, drawer storage was sacrificed for wheelchair access. Kitchen counter space was sacrificed for a large counter top microwave oven. While in the kitchen we noticed that the refrigerator door was opposite of what it should be. Whether standing or in a wheelchair the refrigerator door opens left to right, not right to left which would be correct for the kitchen layout. Not a big issue for a standing person, but for someone in a wheelchair, and in a handicap room, I'm sure you will get more complaints. The closet in our suite was also an issue because the coat hanger/shelf was mounted low, again for wheelchair access. We specifically asked for a non handicap room, as we have experienced this before. We were flexible on our reservation dates, but were still put in this handicap room. "This was the only room we had when you checked in" is what we were told when we called the front desk. We should have been told when the reservation was made that the only room available was a handicap room. The room is clean, furnishings are nice and fast WIFI. Cheers.

This hotel was a hidden gem that I found through Armed Forces Vacation Club (AFVC). I booked our seven-day, six-night stay online and made sure I had my printout when I arrived. When we pulled up, I quickly noticed the beautiful landscape, sign, waterfall, and well-kept outside area, including the clean parking spaces. I parked outside the front door under the hooded area. When I opened the door, I was instantly amazed at the beautiful décor and low-lighting ambience. Mr. Nestor Orozco greeted us and was such a professional and polite person. He found us a room, but it was on I discovered this hotel through Armed Forces Vacation Club (AFVC), and it turned out to be a hidden gem. I booked our seven-day, six-night stay online and made sure to have my confirmation printout ready upon arrival. As we pulled up, I was immediately struck by the beautiful landscaping, the welcoming sign, the lovely waterfall, and the well-maintained outdoor area, including the clean parking spaces. I parked under the covered entrance.||Upon entering, I was amazed by the beautiful décor and the warm, low-light ambiance. Mr. Nestor Orozco greeted us with professionalism and courtesy. He initially assigned us a room on an upper level, but I mentioned that I had requested a first-floor room due to my circumstances. He promptly offered to check for availability. Within 10 to 15 minutes, he found us a first-floor room, provided a map of the property's layout, handed me a parking pass, and wished us a wonderful stay. The parking was free and conveniently located near our room.||When we entered our suite, we were delighted to find it immaculate. The pictures truly highlight its beauty, but I want to emphasize a few positive aspects.an upper level. I explained that before arriving, I requested a first-floor room due to my circumstances. He asked that I wait while he sees if he could accommodate our needs. Within 10-15 minutes, he had a first-floor room, explained where everything is located on the map, gave me a parking pass, and wished us a wonderful stay. Parking was free and conveniently located near our room. When we walked in, we were greeted by an immaculate suite. The pictures speak for themselves, yet I will highlight some positives.||As soon as I walked in, I noticed a bowl by the door where I had left the key, ensuring I never walked out without it. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, perfect for our vegan and vegetarian diet. The clean and spacious spa tub, complete with a mirror on the wall, was a hit with my child (LOL). Additionally, there was dish soap, dishwasher tablets, and laundry supplies available. The living space featured a clean and comfortable couch, chairs, and beds adorned with lovely pillows. The bathroom provided a selection of Gilchrist & Soames products, including hand wash, body lotion, a skin care bar, shampoo, and conditioner. I particularly enjoyed the liquid eucalyptus and lavender body wash by 39 Degrees North during my shower, as it had a delightful aroma. I only used it on my hands since I have sensitive skin, and did not have any issues.||The two unused fireplaces would be a lovely touch for the colder months. We also appreciated the balcony with seating, which was perfect for our evening relaxation time.||Outdoors||Trash and recycling bins are conveniently located close to the living areas. We were fortunate to have ours right outside our door, which was a definite plus!||The main swimming pool was clean and relaxing. We usually visited as soon as it opened and stayed for 90 to 120 minutes. The weekends were busier than the weekdays, but on some days, we were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves for the first 30 to 60 minutes. There are clean bathrooms located near the pool, several towel stands, plenty of seating areas, a splash pad, and two covered seating areas with TVs. Additionally, there is a bin with pool accessories, food bars, and an indoor gym nearby. By the main pool, there is also one of the whirlpool spas, which we chose not to use.||An ice cream bar near the main pool pleased my little ones, as it offered vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. The clerks at the ice cream bar were always polite and welcoming. I really appreciated their patience and kindness towards my child.||I’m not sure about the schedule, but I noticed that pool aerobics were offered on some days, which I thought was a nice touch. Unfortunately, since I was with my little ones, I wasn’t able to participate.||The playgrounds on the property are lovely, and we spent a couple of evenings at one. There are also grills located throughout the property.||I noticed some designated smoking areas, but I stayed far away from them due to my adverse reaction to secondhand smoke.||Overall, our stay was excellent, and I highly recommend this place. I plan to return...

I am local but was stressed out and decided to book this instead of my usual " oasis water park". I was so pleasantly surprised i booked another night right before check out and the staff did everything to make sure I could immediately check back in. Half of the cost gets you an immaculately clean king sized bed next to a whirl pool tub, a fully, fully stocked kitchen and living area with free access to the pools which are handicapable accessed. The pools are clean and uncrowded after 6 pm, open until midnight and maintenanced the entire day on the hour. Other non affiliated locations are bodies touching full during this time of the year.

The water features bring a lot of local wildlife. What other people are reporting as Arizona roaches are water bugs. Our roaches are 3-4 inches long. If they had seen one they would know. There are signs on the door warning you of scorpions and the sort, i assume thats where other bad reviewers got the idea. None are inside of the facilities but the garden has varieties of all living things. I was able to see four different species of lizard, even a night only species during the day as well as 3 distinct types of hummingbirds which were a joy to watch drink from the garden.

The carpets are new and maintained but the pattern is oddly dated which has been said; not a deal breaker unless your only purpose is taking inside pictures while youre laying on them 👀 thats your business. The only real complaint i have is the televisions. They are flat screen but dated with an hdmi slot being your only saving grace from a choice of 20 channels and that conversely the nearest outlet to the bedroom television is across the room. I asked for an extension cord which they didn't have then picked one up from the Walmart. The staff is very kind and prompt though i made a joke that i would leave the extension cord and the younger desk attendant said please, the next attendant looked at me like i was a little kooky albeit graciously when i asked if they wanted it as i checked out. 😅

If they updated their tv situation this would easily be a universal 5 star experience for families, singles and retirees. I will be back frequently when I return to the states, thank you.

Edit: visited again, my television had expanded channels so maybe in my initial review there was an issue i should have reported. 120+ channels now. It still needs a modern update but for the price? Fair. Added a picture of a rare cicada ( only every 17 years ) i saw alive and thriving on the property, and despite other recent reviews the place was silent after 10 pm and i got to soak alone in the quiet pool for two hours afterwards. No one was smoking and as a "vaper" i left the property easily to not disturb anyone. Tv situation is still outdated but again they do offer more channels than i originally thought and my last review was a month ago so wouldnt be magically fixed....

I booked 1 bedroom villa in this reason and was very disappointed. They are nothing like it shown in the pictures. Tiny one bedroom with small kitchen. Very uncomfortable and not worth the price you pay. I have been in many different resort villas, but never seen like this before. After the first night I asked the front personnel if we can move out from this resort, but they explained to me that our villa is nonrefundable and I should be calling corporate office to resolve the issue. That is what I did. They started the case and told me that somebody will call me to resolve the issue and advised that I should stay in my room while this is not resolved. Same day I received phone call to our room telephone number from the front desk offering us to move to bigger villa, but for that I would have to pay additional $79 dollars for the night, beside what I have paid ($300 per night). I refused, because it was not worth already what I have paid and I explained to them that I have called corporate office and waiting for their respond. So days went by, nobody called me or wrote me an email, even though they had all my info on file. Our vacation ended, I called corporate to find out what happened, why nobody called me back and was surprised when they told me that my case was closed. Closed without any resolution. Then I was told that resort personnel called me and offered me and my husband to upgrade to a bigger villa free of charge or move out and get reimbursement and since we refused case was closed. I was so frustrated to hear all this, I explained them that this is not truth. Nobody called us or email with any offers, but the only reply I got that this is what resort has recorded on file and there is nothing they can do. Seems like they waited until we move out and then closed the case without even bothering themselves to get in touch with us. I would never ever recommend anybody to go to this resort. You will not only overpay the money they ask for the villas, but also this place doesn't care about you. There is always noise coming from outside, floors are never swept, housekeeping never leaves supplies, you have to call every evening requesting to bring shampoo or paper towels or some other things. The kitchen is so tiny that if my husband was doing anything I had to stand behind his back and wait until he will be done. Your bedroom bed is next to the bathroom door and when somebody uses bathroom there is no chance that you will not wake up. Please stay away from this place, because there is plenty of nice places you can stay in without ruining your vacations and if you will decide to complain about anything, nobody will pay...
