A great suite-style accommodation with a few downsides. Travelled for vacation here in July. The grounds are pretty well kept, with 4 pools (one 21+ pool, one kids pool with two water slides and splash pad, and two other all purpose pools). There’s a small games room and modest but well air conditioned gym with a hex free weight rack and a bunch of cardio machines. The suites have a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, freezer with ice maker, stove, blender, toaster, dishwasher, pots, pans and cutlery. There’s a small balcony backing on to the road. The beds were comfortable and clean. The second bed is labelled as a double, and they mean it: it’s small but probably good for kids. Staff were very nice and helpful. I thought the customer service was great. Recommend avoiding the time share pitch and sticking to the pools. A couple of things held this place back. The barbecues are in dire need of proper cleaning. I tried 3 and all ended up with a grease fire disasters from a dirty firebox. Steak got destroyed. One of the staff cleaned the bbq after but unfortunately it didn’t help - the next person also had a massive flare up. There’s also TONS of construction going on on both sides of the complex. We got woken up at 559am each day to construction. The views are ok; you’ll have to drive to get a nicer view from the trails. The location is a quick 30 minute drive from the Phoenix Airport and about 15-30 minutes to a bunch of trails. The internet in the rooms is slow, but seems to be better at the pools. There’s lots of complaints online about the kids pool hours, noise levels, restaurant hours, etc but if you’re looking for a Costco groceries type of vacation and have reasonable expectations for the pools, I think it’s not a bad place to be. Ask for a room on the top floor to negate some of the noise issues, but bring ear plugs for the construction. All bets are off if you’re anywhere facing the kids pool though. Will consider returning.

My family and I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom places for 3 nights and enjoyed it. It felt like living in an apartment. I've stayed at so many hotels in my life, and these were by far some of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in (from top to bottom). We do like that there were 2 bedrooms and each had their own full-size bathroom. There was a fold out bed in the living room, dining room, and full-size kitchen as well. There were quite a bit of amenities, especially for the kids. I think I counted 4 swimming pools? One of the pools has a kid friendly pool, and the other half of that same pool area had 2 large water slides. While checking in the front counter, the personnel notified us that the ice machine was down and that if we needed ice for our room that we could go to the restaurant/store that they have and they'd be able to provide us with ice. We took up the offer, but when we did ask, they were only willing to give us a tiny cup of ice. They also didn't seem aware that the front counter was telling people that they could get ice there. I think I would have given the resort 5 stars for the room, but the part I didn't like the most was how much you could hear the noise from the rooms around. 2 rooms next to us played their TVs on pretty high volumes, and both would start super early in the morning. We could hear the people above us waking around and the kids running and jumping around. I can't say that I had a full nights rest on any of the nights that we were there. We stayed in building #10, and they were lacking handicap stalls on that side of the premises. Despite the negative things that came up, we all agreed that we'd stay here again.

This is our 2nd time staying here and this is my honest review. The place is very affordable for what you get, has big rooms for big families, and can be a pretty good experience if you follow these steps.

Check in as fast as possible and shut down the timeshare speech hard. Go to your room and immediately disconnect your phone from the wall. Be self-sufficient and do not talk to any staff the rest of the vacation. If you follow those steps, this place is pretty solid.

Now for anyone that wants more details... At check-in, they have you go to the main desk to do the usual check-in routine only they don't give you your room keys, you get a ticket to bring to the timeshare desk. They literally gatekeep your room keys behind the timeshare desk. The line is single file and you have to stand in the line for what feels like days while they sell the poor sheep in front of you on going to a timeshare presentation. This is super frustrating when you've been traveling all day and it's well past check-in time. I even saw a guy at the main desk make keys for another guest but he refused to just give me my keys. When I finally made it to the front of the line and shut the timeshare guy down, he basically threw my keys at me. Not the first impression you want.

They will call your room every morning and they will keep calling to sell you on a timeshare. They will keep calling if you don't answer. You must disconnect your phone which is insane.

The main reason we stay here is the rooms. We have a family of 6 so a 3 bedroom with fully stocked kitchen is pretty amazing. The rooms are generally nice. We did have a few minor issues regulating tempurature, fridge didn't get very cold, cable TV went out one night. It was very hot this week so nothing to really complain about. We did hear the people above us a lot and they even woke us up a couple of the mornings. It wasn't the end of the world though.

One night we plugged our phone in and tried calling for an extra blanket for the sofa bed and they said the house keeping staff was already gone. Pressing further, they said the staff leaves and locks everything so there is literally no way to get an extra blanket. Pretty insane that they wouldn't have extra things available at all hours.

The pools were nice. They got pretty busy but it didn't hinder us from having a good time. They close at 10pm and they will kick you out. Our pool area was the only one without a grill which sucked so we had to grill across the resort and carry it back to our room. I saw them swap a propane tank for another guest fairly quickly which was nice.

The game room is fun for kids and the guy working there was great.

The restaurant was fine. The bar tender was friendly. We only ate there once for some quick poolside food. The fish tacos were meh, the beef and chicken tacos were good. The buffalo wings were good.

We used the gym quite a bit. It's very small with a mix of cardio machines, 2 benches, and a small set of dumbbells. There is a nice cold water machine in there. It got the job done.

There is a lot of parking and there were covered parking stalls behind our building which was nice.

The location is pretty good. It's on a quiet street but very close to anything you need and super close to the freeway.

I dont think we will stay here again given the direction this place is going. It's definitely gotten worse since we were last here. It's obvious they only exist to squeeze as much timeshare money out of the people flowing through here...

I booked in the resort on business for 3 nights, rationale being the villas are good value and have lots of space and facilities such as full kitchen and washing machine.||This place is clean, tidy and the rooms are well equipped. The WiFi isn’t good in most places so if that’s important to you consider other options.||The nature of my review is the experience with the staff.||Day one, after a run went for breakfast just after 7am which is the stated start time for breakfast. I was told “the cook hadn’t arrived and they didn’t know if they would”. I then went to the front desk to tell them as the staff in the ‘market place’ didn’t seem too concerned by this.||Front desk called me in my room just after 8 to say breakfast was now being served. Breakfast is extremely limited but that’s as it is and I guess ok for some.||Day two, went for a run, came down for breakfast to be told the cook hadn’t arrived and the place in darkness. I said to the lady this is two days running and it’s supposed to be available from 7am, lady said “it is what it is (the go to phrase for not taking responsibility)”. I replied that really doesn’t help me. She followed me to the door and locked the door behind me despite the fact the breakfast area is home to a store where you can buy drinks and snacks (which is also supposed to be open at 7am).||I went to the front desk very annoyed to tell them and they weren’t moderately concerned with the guy telling me he’ll call them to see what’s happening. I said I know what is happening, no cook, again!||Not being able to get breakfast I went back to grab a snack and drinks. The door was still locked but the lady let me in, I asked if I could get water and a snack. She replied she wasn’t sure she would serve me as I’d been rude to her. Clearly not true, just another diversion from the crux of the issue.||I asked her to tell me how I’d been rude, she just repeated I’d been rude and she wasn’t serving me.||I left and by this point I’d decided I was checking out a day early. Breakfast wasn’t available and WiFi wasn’t good, worse still the staff I encountered were not good, fairly flippent and unconcerned by things that weren’t right.||At the front desk when I went to check out the guy never once asked why I was leaving early. The manager arrived as he was checking me out and he asked her for assistance as he had difficulty navigating the system to erase the change for day 3. The manager helped him in front of me and again never once asked why I was leaving.||For those reading who understand this, you just know when the staff aren’t interested and nothing will make that better short term.||If you want to vacation here and cater for yourself in your room I think it will be adequate. If you want any level of service and even want the hotel to just do the things they state then avoid.||If you are travelling on business absolutely avoid, it just doesn’t work.||This review will likely get the obligatory “thank you for your review, we value your feedback response”. This will be false and I would generally advise anyone to steer clear of the resort.||The hotel management would be better invested in improving themselves and the staff opposed to generating fake responses to...

We’re currently in the middle of our stay here. We chose this place based on the glowing reviews, but unfortunately, our experience hasn’t lived up to the hype.

Check-in went smoothly—Manny was fantastic, friendly, and got us settled in quickly. However, things took a turn once we got to the room. We were greeted by a swarm of mosquitoes, and spent the first couple of days clapping at the air trying to get rid of them. It honestly sounded like a round of applause in there 24/7. My guess is that the door was left propped open during cleaning, but who knows how long it had been that way? Sadly, my wife and son ended up getting bitten quite a bit while just being inside.

As if that wasn’t enough, we also discovered the ceiling fan was dangerously unbalanced. When we turned it on, it shook by the neck like it might fall. Visually, the unit looked great, so this was disappointing. Around this time, I got a follow-up text from Manny asking how things were going. I let him know about the mosquitoes and the fan, and to his credit, someone was sent out right away after I also spoke to a very kind front desk staff member named Lynette.

Lynette had a great attitude and even laughed at my bad dad jokes while quickly arranging for maintenance to come by. My wife said the techs arrived promptly. Tim and Kevin were very helpful—Kevin explained that the garbage disposal was likely jammed from lack of use, supporting my wife’s theory that the room had been vacant for a while. Apparently, these lower-level rooms are less popular due to a short stair climb, according to Manny.

The fan was another story. Tim let me know that the model used in our room wasn’t the best. They almost upgraded it by mistake, but had to follow corporate standards for uniformity. To reduce the wobble, they removed the light fixture, which was a bit of a bummer—I liked the design. Still, I chose airflow over aesthetics. After they left, I noticed a screw was missing from the fan’s base cover. It wasn’t very visible, so I understood how it got overlooked. I brought Tim back, and he quickly fixed it without needing his ladder. He and the other staff have clearly been working hard around the property all day.

Unfortunately, our biggest issue came later and led to us switching rooms entirely. After a relaxing Sunday—bartender Melissa at the on-site restaurant was lovely, and the margarita and onion rings were great—we returned to our room and found a large roach in the kitchen. I tried to hit it, but it ran. I immediately called the front desk and asked to be moved. They moved us promptly and without hassle, which we appreciated. However, when my wife went to pick up our new keys, no one apologized for the inconvenience, which rubbed her the wrong way. I spoke with Manny, the supervisor, and he made things right and couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

The new room we moved to has more dishes and the garbage disposal works even better and sounds extremely forceful. The water pressure in the shower is nice, but it was nice in the last room. All the ceiling fans work perfectly and we weren't greeted by a swarm of mosquitoes and no roach so far. Hopefully things continue to go well until...
