I travel around for my job and bring at least 20 or 30 people with me for work. We decided to try them out. The lady at the front desk refused to take one of my crew's debit cards. We had to wait until 4 o clock to see a manager because he wasn't on duty(mind you he lives there next to the office) Only lights that work consistently and the only cameras are near his and his families rooms. The rooms aren't clean the tub doesn't drain so when you shower it fills with water. WE WERE ROBBED during our stay. when I asked the lady at the front desk for help and the local dispatch number to the police station she said you call 911. I said I'm not dying and I haven't been shot I'm not tying up the 911 line she said "call 911 I no help". Then the manager threatened to kick us out because someone who pulled into stay asked why the cops were there and we told them we were robbed. we stay a minimum of one week in a hotel and bring hotels a lot of money, the manager informed me that he didn't care about future business he had been that stay with him regularly. I will never stay here again nor will anyone who works for me. This motel is barley a 2 star as is. After the way they treat there customers its not only a rat hole motel it is a non customer service related hotel as well. The police department told us that they would not stay in Seguin because of the high crime rate! That this hotel is located right in the middle of two different gang turfs one on the same side of the motel one on...

Entered room to find about a couple dozen dead flies scattered across the floor. When I decided to take a shower, found the towels had stains on them and possibly dirty. Went that night to ask for clean towels and also mention the flies all over the floor and then receptionist complained that I was telling her now (and not earlier in the day). Apparently my timeliness was the main issue in her mind, not the dirty room and towels. Receptionist then asked me to wait until morning for clean towels because she didn’t want to take 2 minutes to walk to the laundry room to get them. I said I needed them tonight so we walked over together and she gave me two towels.
Then I turned on the water in the sink to see a splash of brown liquid before the water became clear. I ran the water for several minutes before using it to drink. Wasn’t comfortable drinking it but it was my best option given how tired I was. Ice machine was only at front office so had to walk outside pretty far from room to get ice as I was in the other side of the complex.
Gave me a WiFi code that didn’t work.
Only positive is that there were no bed bugs, which was a real danger in my mind given the quality of everything else.
Highly NOT recommended on every criteria...
Read moreI stayed here because I didn't want to pay $250 dollars for a sketch two-star hotel in Austin just to see a concert. I don't mind the drive into the city. So how was this hotel? It's spartan but adequate. Don't expect an iron, ironing board, fold-out luggage stand, coffee maker, or coffee in the lobby. You'll have to go to Starby or Mickey D's. Positives: Decent hair dryer. Cold refrigerator. Working microwave. Comfortable bed. Wood-like flooring, great A/C unit. Small but clean bathroom. The room itself is spacious.
I got the room on Priceline. I didn't have to provide a credit card at the front desk for incidentals. No cash deposit was requested. Unfortunately I think some hotels base their decision on whether or not to take a deposit on how the guest looks. I dress professionally and I guess I don't look like someone who would trash a room. I wonder what a room-trashing person looks like. Maybe if you work in a hotel you get a feel for those things. That doesn't mean it's okay though. They really should be consistent with the policy because It's prejudiced/elitist not to be.
I would stay here again to avoid crazy...
