Dietz Flower Shop and Tuxedo Rental — Local services in Seguin

I called three weeks in advance to make sure an arrangement I knew would need to be special ordered had time. Person who answered wasn’t familiar with the product and asked to call me back when they could talk to someone else who was. They called me back an hour later and said the arrangement would be ready for pick up, I scheduled the pickup day and time, agreed on the price around $165, told them it was for my anniversary on a Saturday, they said they are closed on Saturday so I agreed to pick it up the day before. I show up to pick up my arrangement and I’m told they showed I never called them back to pay in advance so the arrangement was never ordered or created. They didn’t offer any sort of solution or alternative. Essentially said, it doesn’t matter that you called in advance to give us time to make the arrangement, YOU didn’t call US back so we moved on. I genuinely try to support local. But this experience when I as the customer am trying as best I can to accommodate them, and they blame me and offer no other solution is extremely disappointing. Unfortunately I won’t be back and I warn ANYONE before using them to expect to either be diligent when ordering from them or find someone else. Dietz is absolutely THEE BEST flower shop ever! I purchased some Anniversary flowers for my Mom and being out of state and not be able to find the arrangement online, they helped me over the phone the best they could. Come delivery day.. they sent me a picture of the flowers and although I wasn’t totally satisfied with it, she made the necessary changes and it was absolutely beautiful. ( not that it wasn’t already, I just wanted more white, less green) However, the flowers served their purpose and the meaning behind these flowers is why I chose Dietz to make them for me. My Dad passed away this year and it’s their first anniversary with them not being together. So receiving “flowers from Heaven” from my Dad made my Mom cry but at the same time at peace knowing that we will keep him alive in every way. I’m crying writing this review because words can’t express my gratitude for a job well done and for my patience and making sure I was satisfied. I called Dietz Flowers late last Friday afternoon from Atlanta Ga hoping to get flowers to a patient in the hospital so they could be enjoyed over the weekend. Even though it was their closing hour, Linda was so accommodating. She sent me a picture of an arrangement that was available to send so I would be comfortable with the purchase and made sure they were delivered that evening. The flowers were beautiful.
