Route 7 Liquor and Deli — Restaurant in Shelburne

I've had good experiences here before, but tonight was not one of them.

Ordered a haddock basket only to receive a box without any haddock, only fries. That's fine, everyone makes mistakes, but when I brought it back 10 minutes later, I was given a different haddock basket that I noticed had already been sitting out on the counter since before I ordered mine (30 minutes prior), even though the lady behind the counter said she "made it for me since she knew I'd be coming back". I wasn't going to argue, but this was definitely not the case, as the food (both the haddock and the coleslaw!) was room temperature and the fries gross and soggy, far colder than the fries in the box from my initial order that I gave back to them. It's likely they just gave me an order that no one had picked up for awhile, as it just after the deli closed.

Totally not ok to give someone ice-cold food that's been sitting out for God knows how long instead of rectifying your mistake and making it fresh again. I know it was the end of the shift but this was really...

I didn't personally buy anything from this store but I did give a friend a ride to this store because she wanted something to drink and I personally don't drink alcohol anymore for several year's and I really enjoy My Sobriety for quite some time now. I went inside the store with her because I wanted a soda, while she bought her liquor! The staff where Very Polite And Respectful and were very supportive in what we were looking for here. I wouldn't have a problem giving her another ride to this place in the future because of the great customer service that these people who are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that you are well taken care of here! I went here to bring my refundable cans an bottles here I saw a sign out front It said wanted cans will pay 6 cents .so I went Friday morning to the back .guy in back was busy with a truck driver I gave him 4 bags of cans bottles I counted them all with a friend we both got the same amount 19 dollars 35 cents guy done gives me the paper to go up front He says I have 15 dollars an 10 cents I tell them we had 19.35 still not going to give me back anymore .tells me they don't take some cans .
