I am a Bonvoy member and traveling second party auditor within the pharmaceutical industry. typically twice a month I am performing on-site audits and reserve and book hotels through Marriott. which is awesome because they have a great points program and I've been loyal to them for at least a decade. I've dealt with situations like noise, or a room? not getting cool enought...BUT never in my entire life have I stayed at a Marriott bonvoy hotel that was in this condition. I am highly allergic to mold. my throat was literally closing up as I was messaging my boss. As soon as you walked in the room you were smacked with the smell of mold and it was just everywhere. These were just quick images and videos that I got so I could message my boss and get confirmation that I was okay to move to a different hotel since I had already checked in and the corporate card was already charged. I was in the hotel maybe 10 minutes and when I tell you I was hacking and coughing the entire night and into the the next morning. I probably should have gone to the emergency room but I had a huge audit the next day and we do on behalf of our clients. so I didn't want to rush to the ER which I really should have done because my throat was really messed up and I totally broke out in a rash. #fyp #hotel #travel #traveltiktok @Marriott Bonvoy @Marriott Hotels
