I'm very disappointed with my stay. I stayed one night (7/13-7/14) with family, including a young child. The hotel has a lot of potential. The suite layouts are nice, and the hotel has a nice courtyard. However, the room I stayed in was very dirty. The hair all over the bathroom floor and dirt in the kitchen was an obvious sign that the floor was not cleaned before our arrival. Our room had a sofa bed and king bed. I chose that setup because we needed beds for 4 people. When my sister started to pull out the sofa bed, she noticed several large, nasty stains on the mattress (see attached pictures). After seeing the filthy mattress, she attempted to push the partially pulled out bed back into the sofa. The sofa bed got stuck and would not fold into the sofa. Since she needed to sleep on the sofa bed, she called the front desk to ask for assistance with the soda bed. The gentleman at the front desk told her that maintenance would not be available until the next morning. He offered to bring extra comforters. I guess to cover the nasy stains on the mattress? It took him a while to come. When he came with the extra comforters, he attempted to fix the sofa bed so my sister and her child could have a place to sleep. He was unsuccessful but offered to try to find a way to fix it by doing a quick Google search. We declined because we wanted to go to sleep asap. The gentleman was very sympathetic and tried his best to improve our crappy situation. I ended up having to sleep on the sitting room floor because there wasn't enough room in the bed for 4 people. My family slept in the king bed, which was not dirty. I didn't get much sleep that night and woke up the next morning with aches and pains. The next morning, I informed the woman at the front desk of my horrible experience. She was also sympathetic. Hilton hotels have always been my go-to for travel. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel caused me to lose faith in the Hilton brand. I've stayed at a variety of hotel brands, but I have never seen a sofa bed so nasty. I also never walked into a room where the housekeeper completely skipped vacuuming the floor. I would have rated this hotel 1-star, but the front desk staff were great.

The Homewood suites by Hilton in Solon was a decent place to stay for the 4 days I was there. The room was clean and serviceable, but not opulent or luxury. Luxury. It was the studio type room, with the fold out sofa and a queen bed. There's a small kitchenette, that can allow for some cooking. But it is small. The bathroom was decent, although it felt like the commode was crooked and leaned to one side. The shower stall is large but dark. When you close the shower curtain. One of the light bulbs behind the mirror was burnt out, and there were other small maintenance issues that should be noted by the cleaning staff and reported for maintenance. The staff that I did meet were nice and friendly, and very helpful. The included breakfast is nothing stellar, but what do you expect? This is not a restaurant with a full-time staff making meals. This is a rather inexpensive Suite-based hotel where the office staff is probably heating up the breakfast offerings. The only really negative thing I have to say is that the elevators are very loud and if you have a room near an elevator plan on being woken up multiple times throughout the night. There are no ice machines that I could find in the hotel. The ice maker in the refrigerator in my room did not make ice.

This hotel was okay and tired in many places, as the rugs were starting to look quite worn in the rooms - just didn't feel 'new', and I guess it isn't, so that is to be expected. The breakfast was very good, but whisked away faster than I have ever seen anywhere! I arrived about 40 minutes before the breakfast was officially over, and was unable to fully eat what I was planning to still get because of it being taken down with lightning speed. Generally hotels will give a little grace period on this, but not so in Solon. The part of our stay that I am having trouble accepting, though, was the condition of the first room we were given. The toilet had been used by someone before we arrived, and not flushed obviously, as there was visible 'poop' left in the bottom. I am VERY sorry if the attached picture is offensive to anyone - the sight was definitely offensive to our family as well. The staff moved us to an identical room with clean facilities - an hour plus of wasted time on an evening that was already very busy and late. But, thankful for clean facilities, nonetheless!

This stay at this hotel really tested how sleep deprived I could be before fatigue set in..... In a very bad way. I checked in very late because my flight did not get in until 11:00 p.m. I was very exhausted and I stated that to the young lady who checked me in and she proceeded to give me a room directly next to an equipment room which made horrendously loud noise at random times throughout the day and night. As a result on my first two nights there I got very little to no sleep. Since it was business and I had to get up for work I did not complain I just pushed forward. By my fourth night there I was very exhausted to the point where I literally passed out while cooking. The young man who was at the desk at the time came to check up on me and I am very grateful because I was so sleep deprived that once I passed out, because I have Lupus I was in a very heavy sleep in which I could not hear very well and I smelt nothing. It was a very important lesson on fatigue for me and also I would like to give a warning to anyone who stays at this hotel if you do not like loud noises or if loud banging noises will wake you up do not stay in room 117......the mechanic room or electric room or whatever it is, is directly next to the bed in that room. So when the machine is operating there is loud banging and grinding noises that are right at the headboard. I was so exhausted from working 10 hours a day and then coming back to that hotel room and trying to sleep. I thought I could sleep through the noise but sometimes the banging would be so loud and shocking it will catch you off-guard and wake you up immediately. The rest of the staff was amazing very wonderful nice I wish the young lady who was checking me in would have been more thoughtful and paid attention to me when I said that I was exhausted from spending the entire day and night at the airport and that I have to be up at 6:00 a.m. for work. I would have expected her to put me in a quieter area especially since I had no preference on what floor I was willing to stay. it was a nice day but it could have been much...

Well, where do I start? I usually always stay at Hilton‘s Other. It’s Homewood suites Hilton Garden Inn Home two suites this time I chose to stay at a Homewood suites because they are usually the nicest ones that I stay at, but this one definitely not so when I first got in my room I noticed a whole bunch of nuts just flying over the sink and I went over there and I thought maybe something was inside the sink but it wasn’t it was just a bunch of nuts flying and I kept trying to kill him and yeah, so that was the first thing. The second thing is I go around to the bed and the bed covers are definitely dirty not clean, but they made the bed like it’s a clean bed, but it definitely wasn’t. The last straw was when I went into the bathroom and there was poop stuck to the bottom of the toilet they didn’t even clean the toilet the rags look So dirty, but they’re supposed to be clean, so yeah I went downstairs immediately the guy was very very helpful. He did give me another room and I got in the other room and it was better than the other room but still dirty and still nats so when I called I called downstairs to tell him he told me they’re having some type of problem that they’re in all the rooms but most of the rooms at the moment so I just went to the store got some bleach and some Clorox wipes cleaned up the room and checked out the next day, I literally showed the front desk to all the pictures and videos from that room. They definitely need to get some new housekeepers or something. The room just does not feel clean at all. It doesn’t even look clean you get how it’s not clean. I stay at this room a couple years ago and it was way better than what it is now definitely went down the drain such a shame because it has a lot of potential if they would just clean better and remodel, even but I couldn’t believe that I went in my hotel room and it was that dirty and literally feces was stuck to the toilet. The maid didn’t even clean it like it was disgusting but the front desk guy I will say was very helpful and did not have any problem, giving...
