I went into to Starbucks on Ireland Rd., to complete a star challenge and get a free hot coco. The requirement for the free coco is a purchase of a grande drink. Just a GRANDE DRINK. Well, my challenge required a frappachino. I ordered my frap and the coco and the girl behind the counter said,” you have to order a hot drink, to get the coco.” I changed my drink to a hot drink then realized that I needed the cold drink for my points. I read their stupid little sign, (no mention of hot drink), I went on line and checked the rules, no mention of hot drink. We sat there waiting for 20 minutes waiting. FINALLY, a manger asked us what we were waiting on. I started to describe the drinks and she shouted at me “JUST GIVE ME YOUR NAME!” I growled back Nancy!! She said “Your drink is over there!” I said no! I have two drinks!! She said “I only have a Nancy with one drink.” I lost it!!!!! That wasn’t even the right drink. Read moreThis Starbucks is usually one of the better corporate locations in the area. But today, I was very disappointed. I had a mobile order, which are prioritized over cafe and drive thru. I waited in the cafe about 10 minutes for my drink, understandable, they were very busy. 30 minutes later, I’m still waiting on my ham & Swiss croissant. So, I finally said something because I know sometimes they can get skipped over by accident. I was then handed an empty bag that said “out of stock.” The barista just walked away without saying anything, like sorry we’re out can I get you something else. I piped up as they walked away and said umm wait like can I get a refund or??? I was told to get back in line and figure it out. Like, WHAT?? I just waited 40 minutes to be handed an empty paper bag, that I paid $4.25 for. I’m just baffled by this. I actually work for a licensed Starbucks store and this is NOT how I would have handled the situation whatsoever. I understand 100% it is not the baristas fault for stock issues. I asked if the drink I received was my venti coffee because it def was not a venti and received an attitude from the person at window that they didn't make the drink so i then asked can you have them remake it please very nicely and again received an attitude they did remake it but the problem I'm having is the attitude I received for asking for my drink I paid for and tipped for was made correctly. I'm also in the service industry so understand things aren't always made correctly so I know you can easily smile try to fix it and move on... kindness goes along wait.
