We stayed here for one night as we drove from Ohio to the Grand Canyon. We had originally planned to stay at an "iconic" motel on old Route 66, but the chilly reception when we called made us change our mind, so we selected this place.||Except for the fact that our reservation was missing when we arrived, everything about the place was great. It's a one-story motel with parking right outside the door. The rooms looked more updated than in some of the pictures I have seen; the room was quite clean and the beds were very comfortable. Even though the motel is right by the interstate, I didn't hear any road noise during the night. Office staff (I believe it was the owner's daughter when we checked in and the owner herself when we checked out) were very friendly.||The motel is conveniently located near several restaurants, which was nice after a long day in the car. It was also great to grab breakfast immediately before hitting the road for another long day. ||I would recommend and definitely...
Read moreI called today to let the hotel know that I would be adding another adult person and 2 children to my reservation because when I did it online it only showed one adult...The woman...something "Patel" was so unbelievable rude that I actually cancelled my reservation and we are staying somewhere else. I advised her that since we would have two young boys with us, one my nephew celebrating his 13th birthday and his best friend, but the parents of the boy didn't want to young boys sleeping in the same bed (religious reasons) and I would need a roll away cot-she advised they didn't have those, he wasn't allowed to sleep on the floor and said she had another call and hung up on me!!! I was so mad not only will I be calling the corp. office after work but will stop by there before we leave for the weekend and tell her owner, unless she IS the owner, off in the quite a few choice words. This woman needs a lesson in customer service and especially how to speak to AMERICANS if she plans on staying...
Read moreMy husband and I have stayed here 3 times in the last couple years while going on fishing trips. All 3 times we were towing a bass boat. There is ample parking for a truck and trailer with room to turn around. It is direct access to each room from outside which makes it very easy to keep an eye on things. The rooms look like they have gone through some renovations and some still need work, but they are very clean. It is easy on/off from 44 and the traffic noise in the rooms is very minimal, if any at all. The same woman has been at the front desk all 3 times we have stayed here, and she is very nice both on the phone and in person. If you are looking for a fancy hotel, this is not the place for you. But if you need a clean, safe, friendly and inexpensive place to sleep for the night I highly recommend it. I know we will be back any time we need to stop for the night while...
