Me and my family had really high hopes for this place. First time we went there was last Saturday. Knowing that they were new I figured there would be some mistakes. The place had half the tables full but would not let anybody else in because they said they were behind in the kitchen which is understandable. We waited 45 minutes and finally got in. After getting in we waited another 45 minutes after ordering our food to get it. could totally understand because they were new. Just went in there tonight the waitress came to our table about 15 minutes after being seeded to ask what we wanted for drinks. She took our drink order said she'll be right out to take our order. another 10 minutes go by and another waitress brings out our drinks. We then wait about another 15 minutes for her to take our order she finally does. Then the wait starts after 30ish minutes I hear the cook's yelling order ready and describing our order. We hear this for about another 10 minutes. finally my wife goes in and says that's our order can you bring it to our table. Another waitress kindly says yes I can bring it to you guys sorry about that. After getting our order we were still missing our salads and we told the waitress and she said our main waitress will bring it out. we completely finished our meal before the salad came out. We asked to get the salads to go with empty drinks in front of us (not one time did she give us a refill) takes her about 5 minutes to box the salad she comes back out with our salads and we asked for the bill. About another 10 minutes go by we finally get it and it has extra meals on it. My wife then goes up to the front counter and says hey there's an extra meal on here. She says okay I'll take care of it another 5 or 10 minutes goes by as she's taking other people's orders while we wait for our bill then my wife tells the lady at the front counter we're about to walk out and this is ridiculous and she got it corrected. The whole time we were there we seen two tables walk out due to poor service one guy told us he was there before us and all he ordered was eggs and a pancake and waited over an hour. We were they're almost 2 hours. got there at 6:30 and just got out of there at 8:15. Be careful and check your bills before you leave and don't expect good service. Our waitress came to the table three times total in 2 hours. We were extremely excited about this place as we only live a half a mile away up 19 and wanted something new. Asked if I wanted to seat at the counter seemed to get upset when I said I prefer a booth. Got asked what I wanted to drink took a bit to get my drink. My waitress was Sam very nice lady she is only reason I didn’t get up and walk out. Noticed 3 older lady’s that was also waitresses there grouping together over heard some of the ways they spoke to customers not very professional. From time I ordered my food to time I got half of my order was over 50 mins. Ordered the steak bites breakfast thing scrambled eggs and was supposed to be cheese on eggs and hashbrowns with order of 4 stripes of bacon. The pancakes that came with it was cooked on a dirty grill. Came out with burnt black stuff on them. Never got my bacon or hashbrowns with cheese thankfully cause when ordering eggs or hashbrowns with cheese the cheese is suppose to be the shredded cheese that is used on omlets. Sam keep saying sorry for something that was not her doing. This was my frist time back in there after bad experience when it was Dottie’s over the summer. Only reason like I stated was the waitress Sam had an awesome customer service attitude or I would had walked out after 20 mins of waiting for my food. Maybe the manager needs to be there in evening instead of the day time or hire a manager for the evening and over nights to deal with the problems. Read moreI am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service and quality of food I encountered during my recent visit. My dining experience was so negative that I feel compelled to share my concerns, as it fell far below any acceptable standard for a restaurant of your caliber. Upon arrival, I was left waiting at the entrance for an extended period despite several empty tables, the server said “when I clean a booth you will be seated” no booth was ever cleaned she sat me at a booth that was already open,and when finally seated, my server appeared disinterested and inattentive, taking an excessive amount of time to take our order and bring drinks. I waited a hour for a cold T-bone steak meal with a side added. Also might I add there was another server there she also refused to hand my plate out. But she handed out a plate to a caucasian male that came in after me in the server section that was serving me. She let my food sit there and also get cold. It took also an hour for a special drink. I have never had this type of service at an ihop. I was a hungry African American truck driver, that didn’t get to eat after a long difficult drive in this weather. Due to this extremely poor service and substandard food quality, I feel strongly that this experience warrants a formal complaint. I sincerely hope that you will take my feedback seriously and implement necessary changes to ensure future customers have a much more positive dining experience. Ps. Denise is very unsanitary.
