Highly unprofessional recently. This art gallery usually is quite organized and has a great reputation, but recently has been very unreliable, unorganized, and even rude to artists submitting their work. A friend of mine, after submitting work, was given contradictory information about whether or not his art was accepted. After reasonably questioning, his work was then INSULTED via email by a worker of this gallery. Not only this, but their “apology gift” for my friend was then lost in the mail, and they refuse to resend anything else, nor accept their work in a timely manner. I understand that many of these workers are volunteers, but how desperate is this place that they are willing to take irresponsible and offensive staff?? Ridiculously immature behavior, and this needs to change as soon as possible [EDIT] I see that several other artists have had this same issue with volunteer staff. I understand that everyone has bad days, but these responses are both impersonal and unfortunately hilarious even. Please do better, and address these situations in a way that resolves issues rather than justifies them.

Best art gallery in St. Louis! They have art exhibits in the big gallery room that change every 5 weeks, showcasing all levels of local art. Since it's a co-op gallery, they have 14 resident artists that run the gallery. So anytime you go there, you get to meet 2 of the artists from the gallery since they're the ones working there. Each resident artist has their own gallery room down the two long hallways in the gallery. Very very fun place to visit! It's a great place to get local art and the prices are very affordable!

Awesome display of affordable local artworks. Knowledgeable staff/artists, feels like you are talking to real people. Not locked down by “one type” of artwork but many various mediums and it changes depending on the theme of the month. stellar history and stepping into the future with professional artists and emerging talent. Shows are getting so big that they have to turn away so many crazy talented artists to fit everyone inside. Must see experience.
