Mansfield Lodge at Stowe Mountain Resort — Hotel in Stowe

Great house! This was one of our favorite places so far to accommodate our annual group ski trip of about 15 people. It had everything! hot tub, kitchen, spacious dining areas, and kids rooms for the little ones. This was in easy driving distance of multiple mountain resorts for skiing and snowboarding. This lodge is where I spent most of my time during two weekend long trips, I wish they would expand it a bit and separate the bar crowd from the cafeteria crowd. But for what it is, it’s a good place to take breaks, link up with friends, and start your day off. A bunch of free cubbies to drop your bag, lots of staff to help with tickets and rentals. After skiing at Stowe for over 20 years, I had a bad experience there last time. The high winds caused the resort to close 11 of 12 lifts all day. The skiing was limited and treacherous.
