Pico Taco — Restaurant in Stowe

I don’t normally give reviews. This place really needs to get its act together in my opinion. The ‘Mexican’ food was not very good. They messed up our order and the orders in front of us and we watched another order get messed up while we waited in line. The food didn’t taste very good and the burritos were stuffed with a sticky rice and not many toppings. We even splurged $4 for guacamole and that didn’t help. The service was great, they refilled the water right when it got low. Also they had someone cleaning every table the whole time we were there which was great. However this is where we get to the food, I was expecting it to taste way better for the steep price but it was pretty lackluster. The pork burrito was awesome. The guys I saw working in there probably run 3 miles a day in a 1500 sqft restaurant. Constantly moving, cleaning, bussing. The only time I fell all trip was while holding 2 topo chicos and 2 Mexican cokes. Both ski boots shot out in front of me like Joe Pesci when he slipped on ice in Home Alone and I came down on the Pico Taco floor like a damn meteor.
