A little disappointed with the service considering it was for my wedding night (6/12/16), but not too bad of an experience overall.

The first time I booked with them, I had to book over the phone because the website didn't specify if they had a romance package. After talking to a few people, I was able to book a room. I was waiting for a confirmation email, but that never came. After a few days I called to see what was going on. They could not find my reservation after giving all my information to them and I wound up booking again over the phone.

The morning of our stay, I called to make sure the arrangements were made to have champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room when we got there after our wedding and was told it would be there when we arrived.

When we arrived they found both reservations that I had made. Luckily they were able to cancel one of them without charging me the cancellation fee. But when we went up to our room, our champagne and chocolate covered strawberries were nowhere to be seen...I had to call the front desk and have them bring it up.

When I went to take a shower, the shower head fell apart and fell on my head. Luckily the shower head was only plastic and I was able to put the pieces together, but I thought that was odd that would ever happen, especially in such a new hotel.

My last criticism was I felt like there was no communication with the front desk. We had a family member drop off a hanger and garment bag at the front desk so my wife could transport her wedding dress. I got a text from the family member early that next morning that they had dropped off the garment bag with the front desk. Later that morning when I went to the desk and asked for it, the young lady there made no effort in looking and said nothing had been dropped off. Luckily was another young lady overheard the conversation and actually looked for us and found the garment bag.

Now for the positives: the room was very clean, bed very comfortable, great location (very close to a lot of good restaurants and shopping), and breakfast was probably the highlight of the entire stay.

I would recommend the stay for business, but maybe look somewhere else if you want...

We visited the hotel Restaurant after seeing their menu options for Thanksgiving Dinner on line. They were serving exactly what I wanted to eat. The food was excellent and we were very pleased. The front desk young lady did not know how much to charge us for Valet for the restaurant, so she had to call her manager, which took a while to figure out. We were charged $25.00 to valet park our car to go inside and have Thanksgiving dinner, we may have been there 1 hour at the longest because the food was buffet style. The valet young man was very nice, so we gave him a nice tip. I thought this was TOO expensive!!!! The meal was $45.00 each and we were not allowed to take out our desert. The Butternut squash soup was EXCELLENT and the Asparagus salad was delicious as well. The potatoes were not fresh and pretty bad, we couldn't eat them. The Turkey and Ham were delicious, but the stuffing was not. They had a pineapple chutney to go with the Ham and it was so delicious, it cut the heavy sodium on the ham so it was very nice and welcomed. The Brussel sprouts were huge but they were bitter, they needed some flavor added to them while they roasted. The bread pudding was so delicious and I was told it was made in house. The other pastries looked pre-prepared cookies and tarts. The dinner rolls were cold and hard, and dry. It was very dissapointing because who doesn't look forward to piping hot buttery rolls with Thanksgiving Dinner??? The manager came to the tables asking if we were pleased with the food and welcoming us for coming. I thought that was nice. They had a kids soccer team staying in the hotel, and they were very loud and running and jumping and cutting up all over the lobby, it was annoying. They were not accompanied by adults at the time we arrived, at least I didn't see any adults getting on to them to quiet down and stop horsing around. Overall, it was good food, we...

We had a great experience here over our weekend stay. We showed up right at 2p for check-in and our room was ready and waiting. We also immediately requested a pack n play for our two year old’s nap. The girl at the front desk immediately put in a call for one to be sent up. While we did have to call one more time from our room, it then showed up very quickly.

At the desk we were given a bag with two bottles of water and two cards for their happy hour. Every day at 5:30p you can use this card to receive three complimentary drinks at the bar. There’s also food out! Veggies, grapes, cheese, chips, salsa, popcorn cookies and a rotating hot dish (we had sausage, fried mushrooms and then corn nuggets on the last evening).

Traveling with a little one made us super grateful for the separated room. Upon entering, there was a Kitchenette immediately on my left (microwave, mini-fridge, coffee-maker and sink) and a little table. In front of me was a wall. On the left side was a door that led to the bedroom with two queens. On the right side of the room was the TV, the door to the bathroom and a couch. For naps, we put our little one in the bedroom so we could come and go from the room and use the kitchenette and TV. But at night, he could sleep in the living room and we could close the door to the bedroom. Awesome.

Another great aspect of this hotel is their breakfast. They have free quite a spread. I particularly enjoyed their breakfast sausage and Texas Pecan coffee. My little boy enjoyed the cottage cheese and fresh fruit.

Parking does come with a fee. But the good news is that we never had a problem finding a spot on the first floor.

There’s a beautiful roof-top pool here. The view is great as it overlooks the lake and restaurants. I loved the lounge chairs that rested in the shallow end so you could tan...

Arrived to parking garage, gate was up, so not secure at all. The other nights, the gate was down but the Digital key didn't work, which was a pain when no one was available to answer and let you out. Got off the elevator on our floor, and it smelled like urine in the hallway. Booked wheelchair accessible room, because my companion needed it, but then we when arrived to the room, we had to move all the furniture because there's an immovable table, bolted to the wall, so the standard size wheelchair didn't fit past the door. Honestly, the room was tiny compared to how the pictures make it look and there was way too much furniture in such a tiny space for it to comfortable in a wheelchair. There was a three inch metal lip on the balcony door making the balcony inaccessible, so what's the point? There were bugs smashed on two different walls, a fingernail on the floor by the bed, hair on the body wash container in the shower. The handheld shower had very low water pressure for some reason, even though the other part had great pressure (not useful for someone who can't stand in the shower.) The bed was awful and had broken springs or supports - had us both in pain. The breakfast buffet was pretty much garbage - eggs undercooked, bacon undercooked, juices were watered down or empty. Pool advertised as heated, but wasn't. There's a lift for differently-abled individuals, but it's a safety hazard all on its own. For the pric, you can do much better at other hotels in the area. Waaaayyy overpriced. Would not recommend. Will not be back. Booking was "non-refundable and no changes can be made."

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times when we are in The Woodlands visiting family and unfortunately it has really gone down hill. Most recently, we reserved a 2 queen room with a pullout couch for my family of 5. We did not have the option of pre-selecting our room, which is fine, but when we arrived late on a Friday night and went to our room, we were apparently assigned a 1 king bed room with a pull out couch. We proceeded down to the lobby where we were told that they RE-ASSIGNED OUR ROOM TYPE WITHOUT ASKING US! If there were only 3 or 4 people in our family, this would not have been a big issue, but with 5 of us, there was no way we could be in a room with 2 beds. To their credit, they did give us an additional king room for free, but this split up our family with small children and the rooms were 4 floors apart. Additionally, the hotel physical plant has really gone down hill. None of the ice makers on any of the floors we were on were operational, common bathrooms were “out of order” and several pieces of exercise equipment were “out of order”. See attached pictures of all of this. For a hotel that charges $300 plus a night, I expected much better. Additionally, we were never offered any sort of compensation or consideration for our inconvenience of them giving away our reserved room. Beware booking this hotel. I certainly won’t be considering them very highly in the future.

The hotel itself is in a wonderful location, walking areas to shops and restaurants, the inside was nicely decorated, including the rooms, great breakfast buffet and bar. The bartenders were amazing, friendly, and offered a happy hour with free snacks. However, the pool was minuscule for a hotel that size. When I saw it I thought oh...maybe that's just a 2nd pool and the bigger one is downstairs. NOPE. it was the size of a convenience store, maybe even smaller. And the biggest issue was the shower in our room. I always judge a hotel by the functionality and cleanliness of their bathtub and shower areas. Ours was a walkin shower, looked beautiful at first, but when I got in and started showering I noticed black mold in various areas of the shower near the tiled floor and then the water started rising in the shower and wasn't draining. It's disgusting because I didn't know what was clogging it up. We just dealt with it because 90 percent of our time was spent in a hospital down the street visiting my elderly mother so getting the shower fixed and cleaned wasn't our focus. I'm often shocked when we stay in hotels how often this occurs. The showers and tile are rarely clean and rarely without mold. Is that how people live? I know I don't! Gross
