We purchased a couch from the store and had it delivered. During the delivery they damaged the couch and left it. Once we noticed the damage we contacted the store who said the couch has been discontinued so they couldn’t replace the damage piece for us but they could give us $200 credit to the store. I couldn’t believe that’s all they were willing to do. So recently I went to the store to use the $200 credit and I found a table that I liked and once it came time to pay for the table they said I couldn’t use the $200 credit because the table was on sale. I mean a $200 credit should be like cash and applied to whatever. The salesman we worked with was awful and had no idea what we was doing. Finally after speaking with a manager they said the best they could do would be to issue us a $200 gift card in the mail that we could bring back and use towards the table but we had to wait 7-10 days to receive the gift card in the mail. No option to just apply at credit or e-mail a gift card. I found this incredibly frustrating. We put down a down payment on the table that day the salesman told us as soon as we receive the gift card we can bring it in and pick up the table… so that’s what we did. We received the gift card roughly 7 days later we took it to the store planned people to come help up pick it up to find out the table was actually never shipped to the store and still at the warehouse because we “didn’t pay in full” (that was never explained to us). The miscommunication and lack of ownership for mistakes at this store is insane. For our trouble this time around they offered another $50 gift card… I don’t know of anything in that store that’s $50. Throwing gift cards at people for mistakes to get them back in the store to spend more money and deal with more mistakes is a horrible way to...
Read morePeople at the store were good. I would never order a single thing from raymour and flanigan again. We ordered a new leather sofa, bedroom set with a bed frame, dresser, chest of drawers, mirror, and 2 nightstands, and a new mattress. We scheduled the delivery for the coming Saturday 12/16. Saturday comes and we learn that the footboard for the bed came in damaged and that they'd have a new on in and delivered Sunday 12/17, and not to worry that i wouldnt be charged for another delivery trip which seemed odd that me paying hundreds of dollars for them to deliver what we just payed a lot of money for and the idea that I'd have to pay more for their mistake. Sunday morning comes and I get a call that the new one came in damaged as well, so now I have a bedroom with all the parts all over and can't use any of it. I'm told they're trying to find more headboards and a new one will be delivered on Friday 12/22..... I'm a bit turned off, but what can I do, we liked the set and not much I can do but wait. So, now Friday comes along, the guy shows up and starts assembling and we think we're good..... nope, they're still missing a support part and are now trying to find a way to get that part in, they say they'll hopefully get it in and try to deliver Saturday 12/23, the day before christmas eve. Suprise, they came to deliver the missing part, but they only had the same box that also was missing the same parts. After many calls, we're now waiting again to see when they could possibly try to deliver the correct part and be able to assemble the bed. After over 2 weeks and 4 going on 5 delivery attempts, I still do not have a bed or functioning bedroom..... I would have never expected to pay so much to have such a...
Read more6/13/24- Updating my review from 3 stars to 4 stars, and to say that Brandy, the manager from the store, contacted me today to help me resolve the issues. I only wish I had spoken to her that day because it would have made things a lot easier for all of us. Our main issue was that we did not want to have the entire bedroom set, but only wanted to buy certain pieces but we're told that we had to buy all of it, as it was a closeout sale. Apparently that wasn't really the case and they could make an exception. So she has organized a pickup of the two pieces that we did not want and will be refunding some of the money to us. That definitely makes me happier because we had this giant queen bed and a big nightstand in the middle of our living room and had no idea what to do with them or where to put them. Now we don't have to deal with them at all. I feel pretty good about that.
Original review: Everyone was pleasant and we found the furniture we liked. It was a floor model sale so we were forced to take the entire set which we don't really want but we'll just have to sell the pieces we don't want somehow.
The bigger issue was we had to wait for the sales guy that I had met the day before. Even though most of them were sitting around with nothing to do apparently he was the only one that could take care of us which was a little irritating because it took a long time and we were in a bit of a hurry. In the end he ended up transferring us over to someone else to finalize the sale anyway. It just seemed crazy that out of all those people in an empty store he was the only one that had to deal with both of the customers...
