#838 @ Bluegreen — Hotel in Town of Dellona

Loved the location and the ambiance but the cabin had not been cleaned worth a darn. The pots and pans were dirty, the floors had not been swept or mopped in the kitchen or the bathroom, the counters had food stuck to them, there was food in the bottom of the dishwasher, there were crumbled potato chips in one of the kitchen drawers, the bathroom sink was dirty, as was the mirror. The floor in the bathroom was unlevel and the toilet rocked like a chair. They sent a plumber out twice to repair it and twice it broke lose again. We finally had to suggest to them to repair it with wedges to keep it from rocking, so they sent him out a third time. When we complained they gave us a $100 gift voucher then sent Housekeeping to properly clean the cabin. Housekeeping came back and swiped a dirty mop on the kitchen floor only and sprayed cleanser in the bathroom sink but didn't bother to wipe it out or rinse it down. Period! That's all they did! I was NOT a happy...

I've always loved going to Christmas Mountain my grandchildren love it I always have a problem with how clean it is. I own my own cleaning business and it's really hard to look around and see cobwebs and stuff under sofas and under beds and behind nightstands. The decks are always full of acorn spiders cobwebs people have to learn how to clean.
