Golf Christmas Mountain Village — Hotel in Town of Dellona

This place had nothing to offer! When we checked in our reservation wasn't there, took about 1/2-45 minutes to figure it out. They asked 3 times if my name was laticia, i said no! She asked if i was sure! REALLY? We asked what was around there to do the lady and the gentleman at the check in SaId there was nothing open in the area, although the mini golf was available but because it had snowed the night before and things were very wet it was there but probably not too fun at this point! So we asked what was in town to do, they said there was nothing open but there is a Walmart and a kohls to shop. We said we saw there was a casino and asked how far it was from here, the guy said its a very long way away, quite far! I asked what was quite far he said oh about 10 minutes! I said, well that's not far! We asked about breakfast for morning they said there isn't a place for breakfast. Well...When we got to our little cottage it was cute but the livingroom couch was so cheap the back rest part of it wasn't even to the middle of my back and the TV was mounted on the wall VERY high that we had to look up to watch TV! It wasn't comfortable! We went to the bedroom to lay on the bed to watch TV, but upon walking down the hallway there is a hole under the carpet that we stepped in, carpet just laid over the hole apparently! We went to the restaurant on site to eat dinner. The prime rib was the special for the night and was so tough, we couldn't eat it all! We weren't even there 24 hours. No more for this place EVER! When I booked the Christmas mountain village the pictures they showed me were gorgeous and beautiful and captivating! I reserved this place from my own timeshare that I used points to get there because I adored the pictures they were beautiful inside. Once I got there and checked in it was a madhouse checking in first of all, and then it was a bait and switch deal, because I thought I was getting one thing the web site showed me and I got a tiny little cabin that was nothing like the pictures and I don't even know if it was a cabinet it might have been a manufactured little home that look like a cabin????? Once I adapted to the idea of this is where I was supposed to stay for 7 days The landscape and the grounds were kept very well I had no problems with any of that, they did have stores and places to get coffee the golf course was beautiful I'm not complaining about any of that I just feel like if you're going to give someone something it should be what they're looking at and expecting to come to. I really like this place and they have so much to offer (check out all of the amenities). I rented from a friend who owns a timeshare here. She had reserved the week, but I was only able to stay the weekend over Labor Day. She advised me to tell the desk person I wasn’t staying for the week and he said okay. When I checked out, I again mentioned I was leaving early and requested a printed copy of my receipt (just in case). Well, just as my instincts had warned me, the $100 deposit wasn’t returned after 3 days. I called and was told if I used a credit card it’s a 72 hour hold, and if I had used a debit card it can take up to a MONTH!! I called again later that same day and was told my account wasn’t released (I think that was the term) but now that it was fixed I would see my money. Next day, no money. A call to the supervisor informed me to call my bank, and my bank said they don’t know where my deposit was either.
